I'm Not A Fan // Nessa Barrett

"This is Sages bed" Nessa said tapping on the bed in the hallway "and this one is yours!" She said with a big smile pulling herself onto the bed that was across from Sages

"Look how cool this is!" I watched as the small girl crawled further into the bed and pulled a curtain closed causing her to disappear behind it "you have a curtain!" She spoke excitedly pulling it back open

I giggled at her excitement as she jumped off the bed with a big smile on her face

We haven't talked about what happened earlier at all, not one mention of it. Maybe it was all just in heat of the moment

She was going through a lot of emotions...maybe it was an accident. I haven't stopped thinking about it. The hand holding under the table to having her body pressed up against a bathroom wall

Fuck

I thought as I opened a cabinet above the bed to avoid meeting the girls eyes

"That's where you can put your personal stuff! And right here is a closet" She spoke opening a long cabinet door that was connected to the bed "you can hang your clothes in here"

I couldn't tell if Nessa was trying to avoid it as much as I was or if she genuinely regretted it and wanted to forget it

She seems so happy right now

"I might of packed enough clothes for that. I kinda just threw shit into a suitcase" I spoke unsure staring at the empty space with my arms crossed over my chest

Could she tell I was avoiding it?

The bus door swung open to let in a familiar tatted guy and followed behind him were my 2 idiots 

"I'm not going to lie we did get lost" Riley spoke putting her hands up in defeat

Anna slid past her with bags of mine in her hand and on her back "not we, just her. I tried to put in directions and she swore she knew where she was going"

I grabbed my rolling suitcase from Anna as she slid it to me  "well that's not surprising"

"Hey! I just missed one turn" Riley spoke defending herself

"That turned into two...then three...oh then fou-" Anna said while counting on her fingers

"Anyway" I said with a small laugh interrupting them "I appreciate you guys for bringing my stuff"

The girls took me leaving for a little better then I thought they would as long as I promised to call them at least once a day and to continue our movie nights over FaceTime

I called them after lunch to talk about it. A part of me wanted to mention the bathroom but I didn't believe it was a good idea just yet due to the fact I'm still unsure about what happened

"Yeah you almost forgot most of your camera techy stuff" Anna said pointing at one of the bags in my hand that I took from her

"Techy?" I asked furrowing my eye brows. I opened the extra bag she packed seeing what she meant

"I figured you packed your favorite camera but I packed your laptop with some new drives, a tripod you can attach your camera to if you need it" she said casually listening off things I probably should have thought about packing

"Maybe we should have hired Anna instead" Nessa said jokingly walking next to me

"Hey now, just because she packed it doesn't mean she knows how to use it" I exclaimed turning to the small girl
