Michael's POV-

"Ew, William!" I shout as he walks through the door. Mostly out of habit, but I also think it would be useful for CC. I swear, Evan creates so many problems sometimes.. Eh, not as many as William.

"What a warm welcoming," William gives me a very obviously fake smile. "I'm going to my office. Leave me the hell alone."

"Not so quick," I say, before I have a chance to really think about it. I have to be careful. If I let him know to much of what I know, he'll know CC is here.

"What?" William scoffs.

"You left, and I got news from the police that the Pizza Plex brunt down. What's happening?" I ask. It's believable enough.

William lets out a small laugh, the kind of laugh that someone gives when you blame them for something that they think is absolutely absurd. "Why would I ever go near that place?"

"I think you've been known to be near fires in several circumstances." I answer.

"You're not one to say anything about being near fires." William retorts. I am heavily saddened by the fact he is somewhat right. "And since there is nothing else to talk about, I'm going to my office. Once again, leave me the hell alone."

I sigh. That got absolutely no where. Maybe I at least gave CC some time, tough.

Gregory's POV-

So much has happened in the last week. Just a few days ago I was walking into the Pizza Plex, not quite sure of what kind of night was ahead of me.

And now I'm in the house of a child murderer, next to his dead child.

"Are we just going to sit here?" I ask, Evan stares at his door tentatively for a moment before meeting my eyes.

I take a deep breath and allow the simple beauty of his eyes to calm down any fears rising to the surface.

"I'm not so sure if he'll come in here or not.. I'm just waiting for footsteps, or something that would signal him appearing." Evan mumbles, staying quiet.

"But were safe?" I whisper, following his lead on making little sound.

Evan draws in a sharp breath, "Relatively? What is safeness, really?"

"That was as far from reassuring as it gets," Goldie slumps against the bed frames leg, closest to Evan.

"What?" Evan glances over in Goldie's direction.

"I said your being emo. Gregory, you'll be alright. William is really old, and not to mention super dumb. And ugly."

"A lot of that doesn't contribute to helping to hiding for your life," I say, Goldie shakes his head.

"I'm just trying to help." Goldie sulks.

Elizabeth's POV-

"Daddy? Where'd you go?" I ask as dad walks past me.

"Go to your room, Elizabeth." William says vaguely, as if I never asked anything.

Everyday, I feel like I see more and more why Michael and CC don't call him Dad anymore..

"Daddy?-"

"Actually, Elizabeth.." William pauses for a moment. "Can you go check Evan's room for me? Then come back and tell me what you see?"

"Sure.." I sigh as I head off, towards CC's room. Sometimes I feel like he only ever uses me.

I knock on the door, without reply. Evan never replies to doors. I open it and walk inside.

"I told you it wasn't William," Evan says to Goldie as I walk in.

"You never know," Goldie mutters.

"Are you hiding from dad?" I ask, quietly shutting the door behind me. "He told me to check your room.."

I notice Gregory is here, too. Weird.. What are they doing?

"Yes, tell him no one is here." CC answers, gesturing towards the door.

"Fine, but you owe me something!" I quietly exclaim, stepping out the door, and closing it normally. To make it seem as if I checked for a while and found nothing.

I go to dads office, and enter.

"Anything, Elizabeth?" dad asks, glancing at me from over his monitor.

"No, nothing, no one. What are you looking for daddy?" I ask.

"Out of the office, Elizabeth."

I sigh and exit the room.

I wonder if I would have gotten anything in return if I told the truth.
