Evan's POV- 

"Thank you," I say as we approach Gregory's room. 

"For what?" Gregory asks, stopping and turning towards me when we reach the door. 

"For spending time with me, I suppose." 

Gregory laughs, "You don't have to thank me for that." 

"Still, I wanted too."  

Here goes nothing.. 

Pushing myself up to make myself a bit taller, I place a kiss on his forehead, and take a few steps back. 

"I love you," I feel my face heat up. 

"I love you more." Gregory replies, his face a dark shade of pink.

"I love you most." I say,  running off.

"Hey! Wait!- That's not fair!" Gregory calls out after me, but I'm already to far off to consider going back. 

I continue to walk around a bit, before finding Goldie and Nightmare. 

"CC!" Goldie calls out when he see me, him and Nightmare come in my direction at a considerably fast rate for teddy bears, but their acting normal. Mostly. 

"Why are you both walking like your tipsy? You can't even drink."  

"We're not." Nightmare says blankly. 

I kneel down to somewhat match their height. "How are you two feeling?" 

"Happier than ever," Goldie answers. 

"Really, now? Why is that?" I ask. 

"Pretty purple eyes," Goldie muses, while struggling to stand still, as if he's anticipating something.  

"Eyes, in which you should be familiar with." William says from behind me. 

"Perhaps, but I have no interest in ever seeing you. I think familiar may be the wrong word." I stand up and turn to face him. 

"How pitiful.." William pondered, "but, it seems as though I have the upper hand." 

"How so?"  I ask, William gives me a bemused smile. 

"I have way more people on my side, Vanny, Goldie, and Nightmare. Not to mention, I know quite a few of your weaknesses, and goals." 

"Really? And what are my weaknesses? And goals, if you will?" 

"Clever. Trying to learn all my advantages, and what I know about you. I'm not as incompetent as you think. I refuse to so easily give you the upper hand." William explains. 

"That's a shame." 

"Yes, it is." William looks suddenly bored, as if I no longer appeal to him after trying to learn what he plans to do. "We could make a deal, or I can immobilize you. Which is your pick?"

"Well, I would never make a deal with you." I state. 

"Stubborn, as always. Oh well.. Bears, immobilize him. Do not hold back."

Again with a short chapter, sorry. Next chapter is really supposed to be the climax, so hopefully its longer. 

I was also wondering if you want an QNA chapter for the characters at the end of this story? Or even now, roughly in the middle?
