Evan's POV-

I light the very last candle and let out a sigh, tossing the match by a discarded paint brush that leaks red paint over the marble floors.

I move away from the candles and wait.

Each passing second the flames rise higher smoke wisps out with every crackle and flickering of the flames.

The flames rise higher and higher before suddenly dying out with a blinding flash, heavy smoke filling the circle.

As the smoke dissipates, Cassidy becomes more and more visible, sitting in the middle of melted candle wax and red paint.

"Okay.. Why the hell am I here?" Cassidy hisses once the smoke has cleared.

"We're sending William to hell." I get right to the point.

Cassidy scoffs, "you didn't care so much about that not too long ago? Why so suddenly?"

"He's been in the way for long enough.. Regardless, we have different motives, I don't concern myself with yours, stay out of mine. I know you want to send William back to hell anyway."

"I still don't trust you." Cassidy states, "but this is something we both want.."

"Precisely."

They sigh, "Fine. I'll work with you. No tricks or lies. We're sending William to hell, that's it."

William's POV-

I shuffle through printed and copied papers of Michael's work.

I don't think I really got rid of CC, not really.

But if he's not here, where could he be.. Unless Elizabeth was lying. I need to find him and finish this. Then maybe I can get back to work.

I wonder if my target died in the fire. If he did, I can always find a new one.

My door slams into the ground with a deafening crash, and smoke. The smoke alone told me it was Cassidy.

That bitch. I hate children.

Sure enough, Cassidy walks into the room. I get up from behind my desk to greet them.

"Cassidy! What on Earth are you here for? Still want some candy or something?"

They stared at me like I was stupid for several moments, "No, not really."

"What a shame.. Then why are you here?" After asking, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head.

The room felt quiet and dark and alone. It felt like I was knee-deep in blood and suffocating on air.

That's when it hit me.

A diversion.

Cassidy was distracting me so CC could slip in though the shadows and send me to a realm of darkness.

I feel right into their trap.

The blood surrounding me began to boil and the blank void of a sky turned crimson.

He's allowing Cassidy to warp and alter this prison he has set me in.

The blood began to rise higher and higher until I was drowning and my skin was blistering and melting off.

I was so stupid to be distracted.

I felt myself sink.

Further and further.

Everything seemed to go black, and reach a calm and cold, chilling air, until I awoke in a familiar office...

Gregory's POV-

Michael poked my arm again, "It's like.. You're like... Alive. It's weird. Stop."

"Did you just imply for me to kill myself?.." I ask, Michael shakes his head aggressively.

"Not like that. It's just really weird. I tried to ignore it in the mall. It's difficult to process that you're.. Hmm," Michael pokes my arm again.

"It's not that weird," I reply. Michael doesn't look convinced. "Weren't you alive at one point?"

"That was different." Michael states.

The house begins to shake.

"What's happening?" I ask, steadying myself.

"Oh. That's Cassidy," Michael replies. The lights begin to flicker before turning off entirely. "And that's CC."

I sit down because it's getting increasingly difficult to stand.

Michael sounds unfazed, "This may last a few minutes."

The house shakes as though its going to collapse entirely. I can hear papers that were placed on desks and couch's flying around the room. Some stacks of paper fall to the ground.

Eventually, the lights flicker back on. The house settling as if nothing had ever happened. The only sign of what felt like an earthquake being the disorder of the office and papers fluttering to the ground.

Michael let out a deep breath. "Okay, we need to make sure everyone is okay."

I nod in agreement and Michael opens the door.

I really hope Evan is safe.

Michael's POV-

We began walking through the hallways.

Stopping only for a moment to follow the sound of sobs.

We find Elizabeth crying in a nearby hallway.

"Michael? What's happening?" Elizabeth asks when I kneel down next to her.

"CC just sent William to hell.. Sorry you didn't have a warning. We're looking for CC and Cassidy now, if you would like to come with us." I explain.

Elizabeth wipes a tear and nods, standing up to search with us.

From here, I go to William's office.

That is most likely where everything happened.

I step over the door and into the office.

Cassidy is gone. Presumably in hell with William.

Evan lays passed out on the ground. He probably exerted to much energy.

Gregory walks past me and goes to CC's side. "Is he going to be okay?"

"Yes. He'll be fine. He just needs some rest." I go over to CC and pick him up, and begin taking him to his room.

It's a little ironic.

I've never seen him sleep since dying.

Other than the coma..

Gregory and Elizabeth followed after me and watched as I placed him on his bed, next to Goldie.

Nightmare's probably in the closet.

Gregory sat down at the foot of the bed, "when will he wake up?"

"Soon," I answer walking back to the door where Elizabeth is. "Tell us when he does."

I exit the room and close the door behind me and Eli.

I'm so glad this is all over..

------------------------------------A/N---------------------------------------

I'm actually very devastated.

That was the last chapter, however, there will be an epilogue!

I hope I did okay with the demon spawning, I've never done one before, so I have no experience, but I hope I did alright.

I hope everyone who read it, enjoyed the story! The amount of support I have received over this story is incredible, thank you!

Have a wonderful day/night!
