Chapter 3

Rrrrriiiiiinnnnggggg

Finally that heavenly sound of the last bell

I am currently runing towards my car in hopes that I'll beat the buses becasue those things take literal years to leave the student parking lot

"Jasp!" screamed a voice behind me
The nickname and the sweet and calm voice was a dead give away that it was Diana shouting my name across the courtyard

I've always loved her voice
It's so calming and I've mentioned it to her on multiple occations that she is one of the very few people who I can listen to all day

Slowing my speedwalk to a normal walk, long enough to allow her to catch up but not too long to ensure that I make it to my car on time only to speed up when she catches up to me

"What are you wearing, me and Soph agree that we should all wear black because I mean it's black-"

"Wear for what?" I interupted genuinally confused
"Did you already forget, girl we gotta get you checked." she said, this obviousally isn't the first time I'd forgotten something "the party Japser" she said stopping suddenly to grab both my shoulders, staring at me like I was crazy

"Oh ya, I dont think I'm gonna go" I said turning away from her and continuing to walk to my car
Large social gatherings just aren't my thing
I have a very sensitive social battery and people give me major anxiety

"What you have to go, it's the first party of the school year plus your boy toy is going to be there" she said following after me obviouly desperate to convince me
They know how Jacobs mention can change my mind

"Maybe... I don't know, you know what happened last time I went to a party" I'm speaking of last years prom after party
The last time I actually let loose

I little too loose considering the last thing I remember was Diana fishing me out of the swiming pool in just my underwear and bra telling me she's never letting me drink again
I woke up to a migrane that lasted 2 days and I couldn't eat for days but I actually had fun from the things I do remember

"Yes and I also know that we learned from that mistake didn't we" she said looking at me like I was guilty of something
And I was

Guilty of being awesome and an absolute party animal I guess
Liquor really changes me sometimes

"Ya I'll go" I said chuckling while opening my door "Come over and help me find an outfit?" I suggested hoping she would agree only because I couldn't lie for shit and my parents would kill me before they let me go to a party and I literally never leave the house unless I'm going with Sophia or Diana

"Ya I'll tell Soph. Around 5ish?" she asked

"Ya text me when you're there. Love you"

"Love you, Drive safe please" she said

"you're such a mom" I said in a slightly joking manor... slightly

Diana is the mom of the three of us
Sophia is the brains of the group and the sweetheart but she can be blunt as fuck
I'm the baby and not even going to lie I can be pretty distructive but that just adds to my protectivness

I started up my car and Diana started walking away
Luckily I made it before the buses left and I started heading home

My phone suddenly buzzed on my nightstand forcing me to get up from my vanity where I was currently putting on alight layer of make-up

Looking down towards my cracked screen

I need a new screen protector

Sophia's contact poped up saying they were outside indicating that Diana was driving
Thank god too because I didn't feel like driving and Sophia behind a wheel on a night out is a literal death wish
