The next day at school I was planning on subtly asking Sophia what that moment with Rome was

"Hey Sophia" I said walking up to her locker

"Hey Jasp where did you go last night, I couldn't find you anywhere"

"I saw you and Rome yesterday" I stated suddenly

Truth is,
Sophia had a really bad break-up sophmore year and ever since she has been traumatized to be in any type of committed relationship, which is understandable. She wouldn't stop crying for months and it took 2 weeks of sweets and bingwatching Greys Anatomy, Ghost Whisper, and The Office to get her to stop crying for longer than 3 minutes

I was honestly surprized she could go on for that long
Girl must have had a serious head ache by the time she calmed down
Ever since then she hasn't really talked to guys like that, she'll flirt and lead a few people on but when things get serious and one of them catches stronger feelings than that of a fling, she usually runs

But now that she may be talking to Rome, I was curious to find out what was going on. Sophia is like a sister to me and I honestly could not imagine my life without her in it so if she's seeing someone new then I want to know who this is, I hate seeing her in any sort of pain. last time was the most hurt I had ever seen her in

It was honestly scary.

"What -I -I did you hear anything" she studdered

Something is definitely going on with them Sophia never studders

"No but I saw enough, you, him, a dark empty hallway, anything you wanna tell me Sophia?" I asked

"It's not like that Jasp, we're just... friends besides I promise you would be the first to know" she said with a strange look on her face

"I better be" I said squinting my eyes at her casuing her to look at me a weird way

"I have to go, see you at lunch bye" she said quickly as she practically ran down the hall

"Whats up party girl" stated the golden voice from behind me

"Ha ha you're so funny" Jacob stated sarcastically obviously oblivious to the fact that I was infact funny "So you wanna hang out after school, me and some of the guys are thinking of going to a diner somewhere down town"

"Who's going? Is Tyler gonna be there?" I was quick to ask

Tyler was my third grade bully, and yes I know what you're thinking, Third grade? That's like forever ago or Jasper why so many haters? well let me tell you, Tyler continues to be a misogynistic prick of a human and has a thing for bullying people who he thinks won't fight back but that's just how it is sometimes. To quote the beautiful words of Taylor Swift 'Haters gonna hate' and they will... a lot. But it didn't last long considering I threatened to have his micro penis chopped off if he ever thought to talk shit again, the words were affective but not for so long and they only ever worked for me to, nobody stopped him from pushing around the freshmen or other girls. He is an annoying little bitch but he was Jacobs friend and Jacob promised he wasn't like that anymore. It didn't stop me from nearly kicking his ass everytime I saw him though.

"Why do you hate him so much it was almost 9 years ago, some girls can be so dramatic sometimes" he said defending his mysoginistic friend

This got me mad. One thing you will never do is call a woman 'dramatic'
