Chapter 3 - The Thespian
"After months" I utter: "of gathering resources and items, as well as practicing glyphs, I can finally begin to bring August back, for Hunter, for Willow, for everybody.
The more Kalos stays in my head, the more I begin to look at her side of the story with sympathy. How mean and vile death is.
And you'll be an immense help with that, George."
"Go to hell!" George talks back to me. "You promised you'd free us from prison! What the fuck is this?!"
Then an overwhelming sensation of a loss of control spirals me into forced anger. It's as if Kalos and I want - no - have to vent out our frustrations, in one voice.
Like we want to talk at the same time.
"Listen here, punk!!!" Me and Kalos yell at George in "demonic voice": "You don't get to have a say in this. All 30 of you fuckers have committed 1st degree murder. Stole from the treasury. And scammed innocent people.
Monstrous.
And I'm the one with a demon spirit inside my head.
There's a fine line between desperation and greed!
You're more valuable to us alive than dead by that whackjob president, so stay useful or I'LL. MAKE. YOU. USELESS!!!"
I then open my mouth to roar in an animalistic fashion, which scares these hardened and petty and in-between criminals. My eyes are red and my mouth is black.
"Now," I say, now that Kalos has left anger behind and I can speak in my normal voice: "stay here in the basement and I'll come get you. Ok?"
I then rush over to my bedroom to get my bag of essentials.
I also get a door to the Demon Realm. They just *sell* these, nowadays.
I know that Hunter and the gang are at the Demon Realm to deal with important matters, as well as a party I declined to attend, for other business. So they'll be out of Kalos' hair for as long as possible, which means I have time to at least try to resurrect him.
"Ok, that should be everything, Kalos." I reassure Kalos.
"Good." Kalos says. "Now what do you say to waking up this 'Gus' of yours?"
"Let's pounce!" I say.
I then descend back into the basement with the door at hand beside the tied-up criminals.
I then open the door with a common button easily reversible with a key, and flash! The door opens to the Demon Realm.
"Alright, Al Bundies," I say: "get in now."
"No!" A criminal speaks out. "You'll never get away with this! We have our rights as criminals, too! You know?!"
I then use a spell glyph out of frustration: Pocket Dimension.
Then all of them disappear in front of me without a trace.
"Fine." I utter.
"No! Noo!!! What have you done?!" Kalos exclaims. "We need them for our sacrifice!!!"
"Oh, calm down, Kalos." I reassure her. "They're simply in a pocket dimension. They're not dead. But they'll be driven insane, as that pocket dimension warps time a bit. A second here is a minute over there."
"Oh, ok. Good, then." Kalos says.
"Alright then." I say. "Let's go."
We then enter the Demon Realm and walk to where Gus is buried.
