"I'm bored," Mikey complained flopping himself down on Ray's couch.

"Me too. Where's Gee?"

"I don't know. He keeps running off and disappearing a lot of nights without telling me where he's going. Then he doesn't get back until late. I think he might have a girlfriend he's not telling me about."

Ray looked worriedly at Frank. "You don't think he and Madison are getting serious do you?"

"Naw, they had this huge fight when they went out together. I'm fairly certain that whatever that is won't be lasting very long."

"I'm still bored," Mikey interjected loudly.

"Let's go to that place Gerard was telling us about," Bob suggested.

"What place?"

"That new strip club. I think it's called Flesh. I drove by there the other day and it seemed pretty cool."

"I told you guys I can't go to a strip club," Frank protested.

"Oh please Madison isn't here and she's not going to find out. Besides I really don't think she'd care, she does know that you're a man right?"

Frank looked at his friends eager faces waiting for his decision. He was pretty sure they'd go without him anyway, and Bob was right Maddy wouldn't find out. "I guess there's no harm in just checking it out."

"Katiya, this is Gerard Way. Gerard this is Katiya," Madison eagerly introduced them.

"Is Katiya her real name Monique," he teased.

"No but I figured I'd give her a chance to decide if she likes you enough to give you her real name. Now you two have fun getting to know each other I have to get backstage my turn should be up soon."

"So Gerard I hear you're in a band..."

Madison smiled to herself at her match-making skills as she made her way backstage to get ready.

"Yeah I am. It's call My Chemical Romance."

"Oh that's cool I think I've heard of you guys actually."

"Yeah what did you think?"

Katiya smiled sheepishly. "Truthfully I don't remember it was only in passing or something. Don't laugh but I'm mostly into country."

Gerard burst into laughter. "Hey I told you not to laugh," she hit his arm playfully and then pretended to pout.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't expect that from you. You don't much look like a country girl. But I mean it's cool our bands into all kinds of music."

"Gerard?"

Gerard's whipped around at the sound of his name and his eyes settled on the last thing he expected to see. The rest of the members of his band.

"Is this where you've been sneaking off to all the time," Mikey accused, "Hi I'm Mikey, Gerard's brother." He held his hand out to shake her's.

"Katiya, I work here."

Gerard pulled her away as quickly as he could before the others got a chance to introduce themselves. "I need a huge favor. Those are some friends of Monique's that don't know she works here. And all hell will break loose if they do. I need you to go backstage and warn her."

"Um I think it's too late." She pointed to the side of the stage where Madison was barely visible waiting to come out.

"Shit." Gerard walked back over to the guys. "Hey do you guys want to get out of here?"

"Dude no way we just got here."

"Frank, I'm surprised you came weren't you scared that Madison would find out about you objectifying women," he pointed out.

"Frank," Katiya repeated putting the pieces together.

"Yeah that's me," he held out his hand. "And I was but Madison's at work to night which means she won't find out about me being here. And you better not tell her."

"I wouldn't but still don't you think it's kind of risky? What if she..." Gerard stopped mid-sentence as the lights lowered again and the music began. There was no use trying to stop it now.

As soon as the MC announced her name it seemed as though all of the men in the club stopped what they were doing to move closer to the stage. There was no doubt that Monique was a favorite around here.

"Whoever this Monique girl is must be hot 'cause everyone is trying to get a better look," Ray noticed.

"You have no idea," Gerard muttered.

Katiya flashed him a worried look but all he could do was shrug.

Madison came out dancing to a new routine that she had just learned that evening. She shimmied her way across the stage to the chorus of whistles, shouts, cat calls, and applause that she had become accustomed to. She reached the pole and begin dancing next to it, looking out into the crowd for Gerard. She finally spotted him standing next to Amora but instead of his usualy smirk he face read something else she couldn't quite tell. Until she spotted him. Frank was standing there right in front of her. She tried to blink him away but it wasn't an illusion he was really there.

"WHAT THE FUCK," Frank finally erupted, "THAT'S MADDY! MY MADDY! WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE DOING UP THERE GERARD?"

"Um...making money," he said quietly. He knew his best bet would be to keep his mouth shut.

"DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS THE WHOLE TIME? WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU TELL ME? WHY DID YOU LET HER KEEP DOING THIS?" Frank began moving his way toward the stage. Maddy could tell he was coming for her and it wouldn't be good. Frank had just made it to the stage and was about to climb up when he was tackled by Dan and Doug. Madison heard herself gasp out loud and she couldn't stop herself. "Stop, stop it don't hurt him." She stopped mid-dance and ran to the edge of the stage much to the dismay of her fans. "Dan! Doug! Stop it, it's okay I know him." After what seemed like forever Dan and Doug untangled themselves revealing Frank at the bottom of the pile. He stood up and shook himself off.

Maddy jumped down off of the stage and stood in front of him, suddenly feeling exposed in front of him. "Frank..."

He held up his hand. "There's nothing you can say right now Madison. Let's go," he looked her up and down in disdain, "And put your clothes on."

Tears sprang to Maddy's eyes as she walked backstage to fix herself up.

"Madison are you okay," asked Amora rushing up behind her.

"I'm fine."

"You don't look fine."

Maddy sighed. "Frank is just...he's..."

"Frank," Amora supplied.

"Exactly. And I know he's really disappointed and I know he's furious. I just...Frank is all I have I never want to disappoint him. I don't know if I can take it."

"Listen to me," Amora commanded turning Madison to face her, "You haven't done anything wrong. You are just a girl trying to make it on your own just like the rest of us. You've had it rough and you deserved have this to do something for yourself to be independent and up until a few minutes ago you didn't think there was anything wrong with what you were doing, don't let him take that away from you. He doesn't have the right to make you feel guilty okay?"

The tearful girl nodded and accepted when Amora offered her a hug. She quickly changed her clothes and began taking off her makeup.

"Where do you think you're going," Shari asked appearing behind her in the mirror.

"I'm really sorry Shari but I have to go."

"Like hell you are you only did half dance and spent most of your shift talking to that guy of yours."

"Shari I can't do this right now. I don't even know if I can work here anymore."

"Why not?"

"It's a long story and it's difficult to explain just...I'll be by tomorrow."

Shari stared after her stunned as Madison walked out of the dressing room, possibly leaving behind her lucrative job for good.
