"So do you guys want to go out tonight," Gerard asked as they headed to the parking lot at the end of the day.
"No," Madison said just a little too quickly. Gerard frowned. "I mean I'm still recovering from last night. I just can't keep up with you...yet," she added mischeviously.
"We could watch a movie at my place, I got the big screen set up last night," Frank offered. Maddy looked at him questioningly. "I had a lot of time on my hands last night," he shrugged sheepishly.
"That's sounds nice and relaxing actually," Maddy said relieved. The rest of the boys quickly agreed they always hung out at Frank's place; he was the only one who ever had food in the house.
"So what do you guys want to see," he asked once they had arrived.
"Frank has every dvd known to man," Ray informed Maddy.
"I can see that," she said looking curiously at his dvd rack.
"Any requests," asked Gerard coming up behind her.
"It's all new to me."
"Pick that one," he said pointing to a movie near the bottom of the rack.
Maddy bent down to remove it and looked at the cover was red, white, and black and the title read "Scarface". "Is this a scary movie," she asked suspiciously.
"Naw, it's just awesome."
"Alright I'll trust you."
Maddy stayed away through all of Scarface but she couldn't help but to doze off during the second movie. She was sitting between Frank and Ray on the sofa and she had to admit she felt pretty cozy. She woke up from her shallow sleep when she felt movement. She raised her head from Frank's shoulder and looked around.
"You fell asleep during the second movie. The guys are leaving to go home," Frank explained.
"I should probably get going too."
"You don't want to stay here?"
She smiled. "I really should go home. I seem to be spending less and less time in my own place the more I get to know you," she laughed, "Really I don't want to overstay my welcome and I need to refocus on finding a job not hanging out with rock stars." She kissed his cheek. It was weird how comfortable she was with Frank. She still couldn't remember him but there was this feeling of comfort of familiarity that she got when she was around him; a feeling that let her know she could trust him with her life if necessary.
"Fine. I really wish you would stay here though. Or at least let me help you get a new apartment in a safer neighborhood. I know the apartment I just left is still open..."
"Thank you Frank but I can't do that I have to help myself. You've helped me enough already."
Frank gave in knowing his only other option was to hold her hostage which he was very tempted to do. He made sure to walk her to her door just to make sure she was safe.
"I had fun today," she said fiddling with her keys at the door.
"I'm glad," he smiled, "I hope you know I'm not leaving until you're in the house and I hear the deadbolt click."
She laughed and opened the door. "Good night dad," she joked.
"Good night kid, I'll call you tomorrow."
