Weeks passed, another trial was fought and won. Sebastian and I only grew closer. There was no one else I could trust at Hogwarts. Other students seemed to always need my help, so I'd hide my real pain. I couldn't show vulnerability when they relied on me so much. I did try to hide it from Sebastian, but he could just tell when I wasn't myself. Slowly I let him in more and more, and so did he. It was no wonder we became something more.

"Boo!" I said, pinching his shoulder as I came up from behind.
Sebastian jumped in response.
I giggled and sat beside him. We sat in front of the Black Lake. Owls flew above us, delivering mail to students from far and wide.
"What are you reading?" I asked.
"It's the book from the Scriptorium, I'm hoping I can find something that can help with Anne."
I signed. He hadn't put that book down since he found it.
"Sebastian..." I began.
He detected the shift in my tone of voice.
"Aura, if you're going say something my uncle would, I don't want to hear it," he said.
I opened my mouth but hesitated.
Sebastian shook his head, then stood up and began to walk off.
"Wait, Sebastian. Please," I said, tugging on his sleeve.
He signed and sat back down.
"Sebastian, I'm just worried. This is becoming your sole focus and I can see it's all you think about."
"She's my sister!" he said defensively.
"Listen, I love that you care so much about your sister, and I love how determined you are to save her. I'm just worried about you Sebastian," I said.
"You love it?" He asked.
I felt heat rise in my cheeks, and immediately covered them. I was so focused on asking Sebastian to stop that I had exposed my own feelings.
He gazed into my eyes, there was a slight glimmer in his. I could tell he was grateful that someone saw the good in what he was doing. His eyes moved lower, from my nose, to my lips. Slowly, he leaned in, ensuring I approved. I watched him for a second. Was this really happening? Then I leaned in.
Our lips touched, softly at first. Then, Sebastian kissed me harder. I felt sparks rush up from my lips to my head. I kissed him even harder, until panic set in and I parted.
"You have no idea how long I wanted to do that," he said.
"You have no idea how long I wanted you to do that," I said, laughing.
He took my hand.
"Wait..." I said, withdrawing.
"What?"
"What if others see?" I asked.
"Well maybe they should mind their own business," he said.
"Yes, how often do you see people kissing and holding hands in public, it's taboo...," I said.
He signed, "so I can't kiss you again?"
I smiled as an idea came over me.
"Well, not here at least."
I stood up and pulled Sebastian along.

There we stood, in front of the room of requirement.
"I've never noticed this door before," he said.
"That's because it only appears when you want it to," I said.
I opened it and stepped inside.
The small hallway opened into a magnificent room, decorated with a pink eclectic style of furnishing and walls.
"Wow this is fantastic."
"Thank you, I made it," I said proudly.
"You made this?" He asked, eyes wide.
I nodded. I withdrew my wand, and conjured a small dragon to show him.
"Amazing," he said.
I laughed. Sebastian looked at me, a mischievous smile on his face.
"Now, where were we?" He asked.
Sebastian pulled me in, wrapping his arms around my waist, and I wrapping my arms around his neck. He leaned in and his lips collided with mine. We kissed for what felt like an eternity, until we heard a noise from behind.
"Oh shit," I said, realising who lurked within the room immediately.
I spun around to see Deek standing there, with a packet of candy spilled at his feet.
"Deek is very sorry to interrupt. Deek won't let it happen again," he said.
He raised his fingers to snap out of the room.
"Wait!" I said. "Don't tell Professor Weasley. Please!"
"Deek wouldn't dream of it," then immediately left the room.
I signed, "do you think he'll listen to me?"
"Probably not," Sebastian said.
"What's she going to do?" I shrugged.
Then I proceeded to return to our original activity.

When I got back to the common room that night, I felt as if I was on cloud nine. For so long I was stressed about my feelings towards Sebastian, and now I could finally express them. I lay in bed, and was able to get a good nights sleep for the first time in a while.
