jack passing out when you both found out that you were pregnant with a baby girl
the doctor didn't even finish her sentence before you two heard his body fall to the ground
"what the hell was that?!"
"i think he just passed out-"
jack being extremely cautious about anything you do
like, you can't even walk down the stairs without being scolded by him-
"aye! what i tell you 'bout walking down them stairs?"
"and how many times do i have to tell you that i'm fine. you don't gotta worry about me-"
jack, of course, helping you with anything you need
since you have a baby in you, your belly's a little bigger so you can barely bend down and stuff like that, so he's there to help you
discussing baby names is always a challenge because to you, he's always suggesting the stupidest names ever
"what about jayla?"
"none of my kids will be having j names. i refuse to have that happen-"
"why?"
"because every person i've met whose name started with a j were assholes-"
"shhhh- don't cuss around the baby-"
and he puts both of his hands on the sides of your belly and acts as if he was covering her ears
he was too caught up in you cursing that he didn't even notice when you said that every person you've met whose name started with a j were assholes: including himself "that was also rude as hell-"
one day, you guys were just laying down, talking about your baby's future and he just starts crying out of nowhere-
like, you hear a light sobs coming from you and you turn around to face him, trying not to laugh
"are you crying?"
"n-no. i don't even know what you're talking about-"
you and jack almost always going on shopping sprees for the baby
you never like to spend too much when you go out, but he always insists that you do
he also hates when you ask him if you can get something for the baby since again, he's
always encouraging you to spend a lot when it comes to her
"you can get whatever you want for her, mama. i already told you that-"
you always trying to get jack to try out a weird combination of foods that you've been into lately
you were trying to let him try this new pickles, ice cream, and mustard combo that you've loved lately
"oh come on, baby, it's good, just try it!"
"if you don't get that shit away from me, i know somethin'-"
jack always comforting you when you cry/get angry over small things
one time, you had a whole breakdown because there was no more ice cream in the fridge and you couldn't buy anymore since all of the stores were closed
like, it was two in the morning and you got out of bed and jack assumed that you had to go pee, so he went back to sleep as you left your shared room
he didn't even have time to close his eyes before he heard the refrigerator door slam and a loud cry from downstairs
he ran downstairs to see you in the kitchen with tears streaming down your face
"what happened baby?"
"t-there's no more ice cream."
he almost rolled his eyes when heard that sentence come from your mouth cause he thought something had happened
however, he went over to you and engulfed you in a hug, placing a kiss atop your forehead as you both walked back to your room
"we'll buy some more in the morning, mama, but for now, let's go back to sleep."
