Third Energy

Leaving Ibis Island behind when the mission was complete; the containment team gathered all intel, and then an Airstrike was ordered on the lab.
STARS, the team in charge of the operation thought that this was the last of it.
Little did they know that Albert Wesker had completed his mission, even in death.

He had built an underground lab with all the collected research from Dr Kirk; and made it even better with all the Umbrella funding.
Albert may be gone, but someone else had to take command.
Knowing that David Hayter, AKA Solid Snake was involved in a sectret mission; his Long time genesis Revolver Ocelot conducted a little investigation, by sending spies to infiltrate the stars office; and who better to serve him than Ada Wong?

Still sour over the loss of Leo Kennedy to Claire Redfield, she continued to work as a freelance spy to the highest bidder.
Ocelot's offer was one that she could not refuse.
Even though the stars members usually would not take just anybody into their ranks; Ada was an essential asset, and key to end Wesker's reign of terror.
She took full advantage of the privileges given to her by the now new Leader Chris Redfield.
Since Gail and Barry Burton have retired, now the new leader commands, together with Leo and Jill Valentine as seconds in command.

Ada suspected that Albert did have other labs that were so well hidden, that even she did not know anything about.
But Ocelot is a very resourceful individual, and placing all pieces together found the secret lab.

The third energy had default settings to open a time gate to the dinosaur age.
But Ocelot had other plans.
He managed to find and open a secret compartment in the lab, containing all of the T-Virus samples.
He wanted to build the ultimate war machine; by mixing the virus with living dinosaurs, and then reinforce them even further by adding metal gear to their exoskeleton.
The only issue yet to solve was how to be able to control the beasts.

Ocelot would not end here.
He ordered the scientists to begin experimenting mixing dinosaur DNA on human subjects, and if the mutation was successful, add the T-Virus in the mix to create super human soldiers.
Then top it up by giving them exoskeletons.

Ada: and that's the whole story up to this point.
Leon: and you just decided to tell us this now?
Chris: This is just great. We finally managed to kill the craziest maniac on the planet, just to find a worse one.
Claire: This guy is totally insane.
Ada: I had to gain his trust and play double jeopardy.
Leon: Are you sure he trusts you?
Hayter: Ocelot does not trust anyone.
Ada: He trusts me? ... at least for now anyways.
Chris: What information are you sharing with him about starts to make him trust you so much, Ada?
Ada: Nothing... m... much. Only your entire intel on third energy... T-Virus, and...
Chris: Well that's just fucking great Ada. Why don't you hand over the keys to the stars HQ? Might as well...
Leon: You didn't; did you?

Chris looks at Leon as if to say thst why is it that only him and Ada knows what his talking about.
Chris: Did... what?
Leo: Ada?
Ada: I... I; yes, I gave him access to the stars main frame.

Chris pulls out his standard beretta and points it at Ada's head.
- You bitch.
Ada: The information you have is a lot more valuable that
whatever he got. It was necessary.

Leon interferes by telling chris to calm down and lower his gun.
Leon: She's right chris.
Chris: She could have let us know.
Gail: Everybody shut up.

Everyone looks at gail kinda acared but at the same time questioning in their heads why is he there.
- The real enemy lays across the waves. Now stop arguing like little girls and get to work.
Chris: What are you doing here gail? you are retired.
Regina: I called him.
Chris: Why?
Gail: Because obviously you can't handle the situation.
Chris: Says who?
Regina: Here's a court order chris.
Stars has been compromised, and is being shut down. SORT will now take over with Fox Hound.
Gail: You are officially off team chris, till further notice. You, and all Stars members. You lady Ada, you are under arrest for suspicion of compromising a government agency, amongst other infractions.

Ada Wong was arrested for the very first time in her "Career".
Chris, Leon, and Jill got suspended for letting a well known freelance spy into their ranks, and compromised the entire ATT.

Chris: Claire, please; explain everything to Gail.
Gail: Oh she will, don't you worry about that.

Stars were forced to leave the building and stripped of their gear until they were questioned about everything that happened.
Gail formed new teams with the soldiers that were not directly involved with Ada.
That meant that Claire remained on the team who was now commanded by David Hayter, and Regina.
Gail would sit in the background as Secretary of Defense, but would only interfere if really necessary.
Hayter: Ok, where is everyone and who we have left?
Rick: Well, apart from us here and Dylan who's on his way? ... Rico is on Operation: "Just Cause". Carl Johnson could not really stay with a government agency; he had a large list of felonies, especially GTA. He just got let go with honours. Marcus Reed in a New York cop fighting "True Crime"
Rebecca Chambers is on hollyday, but she's probably being told to remain so as we speak.
Hayter: We need soldiers until those four are able to return.
Regina: Know anyone?
Hayter: I know a street made hero that fought for freedom sometime ago.
Rick: Who...?
Hayter: Christopher Stone.

Regina: The Freedom Fighter?
Hayter: That's the one.
Gail: Bring him in. We need proper men like him. He'll be invaluable on our mission.
Claire: By the way Gail.
Gail: Save it! I know everything already. I don't need you trying to make excuses for your brother and your boyfriend.
Bring in more soldiers; and I want you all ready for the briefing one hour. We need to do reckon work.
Hayter; Regina. You take over. I'll be analysing all the data with Rick. Dismissed.

Ocelot was creating the ultimate weapon in order to take over the world.
Fusing Potent Dinosaur DNA and T-VIRUS in human subjects, and on top of it, giving them exoskeletons.
This would create an unstoppable, mindless, killing machine; both as humanoid, or reptilian forms.
It would mean the end of civilization as we know it.
Ocelot would create a world of nightmare and fear.
Even worse than what Albert Wesker had intended.
At least Wesker had some restrain and control.
Revolver Ocelot is so power hungry, that it won't matter to him if he destroys the entire human race.
The heroes had to move fast.
They would question Ada in order to find out where Ocelot and the lab were located.
The four stars members, including now Leon too were also to be questioned, and then re-evaluate their situation to see if they could otherwise return into the team.
Either way, Stars would never be in command again.
Sort (Secret Operations Raid Team) and Fox Hound, now not merged with stars anymore, took over the operations, and lead.
