A few hours later...

As the teams were en route to their respective locations, the atmosphere in each aircraft grew tense. Chris and Jill, bundled up for Siberia, double-checked their weaponry. Meanwhile, Regina and Dylan prepared their maps and jungle equipment for the Amazon, while Desert Storm reviewed satellite images of the Sahara. Snake's team headed toward Tibet, where the rugged terrain and altitude would test even the most hardened soldiers.

On board Fox Hound's aircraft:

Snake took a moment to brief Lara and Fox, ensuring everyone understood the unique challenges each mercenary presented. "Remember, Vulcan Raven has been known to lure his targets into open ground before taking them down. This place is his playground-don't underestimate him."

Fox nodded, but Lara still looked unsettled. "Snake, do you trust Ada?" she asked, her voice barely audible over the hum of the engines.

Snake hesitated, his face hardening. "We'll worry about that after the mission," he said. "Right now, our focus is on these bombs."

Meanwhile, in SORT HQ...

Rick and Allister were scanning the feed from various surveillance satellites. They noticed something unusual: faint blips on the radar appearing and disappearing around each of the bomb sites. It almost looked like... shadows.

"Allister, are you seeing this?" Rick whispered, feeling a chill down his spine. "Those are definitely not animals."

"Cloaking tech?" Allister guessed. "Or worse, a setup to make us think we're secure when we're walking right into an ambush."

Just then, Rick's phone buzzed. It was a message from Ada. "Keep watch on the skies. We may have company."

Confused, Rick called her, but the line was dead. A new unease settled in as he realized that Ada was already several steps ahead of them.

In the Amazon Rainforest - SORT team

Regina, Dylan, and Stone crept through the dense underbrush, their footsteps masked by the natural sounds of the jungle. They could feel they were being watched, but nothing appeared on their night-vision goggles.

Suddenly, a faint, eerie whisper drifted through their radios, causing everyone to freeze. "It's Psycho Mantis... he knows we're here," Regina whispered.

Dylan's hands tightened on his weapon. "Let him come, then."

A strange fog began to roll in, masking everything. Stone glanced around, uneasily gripping his rifle as the mist thickened. Their visibility was nearly gone, and with it, their sense of direction.

In Siberia - STARS team

The cold was biting, and visibility was low due to the relentless snow. Chris and Jill moved cautiously across the landscape, aware that Sniper Wolf could be lurking anywhere. Every so often, they heard faint sounds-a wolf's howl, a gust of wind-but couldn't tell what was real and what was their imagination.

Out of nowhere, a shot rang out, hitting the snow just inches from Chris's boot. Jill spun around, but the landscape was empty, a ghostly white with no sign of their enemy.

"She's toying with us," Jill muttered, gripping her gun tighter. "But she'll slip up."

Chris nodded, his face set in determination. "We just need one chance."

In Tibet - Fox Hound team

Navigating the mountainous terrain was grueling, but Snake led the team with precision. They spotted a figure in the distance-Vulcan Raven, holding his railgun, completely at ease in the harsh cold. But something seemed off. Raven seemed... too calm.

Snake signaled for Lara to circle around, hoping to catch Raven off-guard. But as she approached, she noticed something horrifying. The ground around Raven was dotted with land mines, hidden beneath a layer of snow, creating a deadly ring around him. She backed off, signaling to Snake that this was no ordinary battlefield.

In SORT HQ - Rick and Allister

Back at headquarters, Rick and Allister were scrambling. Suddenly, they intercepted a transmission from Ocelot himself: "Congratulations. You've found my little traps. Let's see how you fare now."

Allister slammed his fist on the console. "He's watching them, Rick. He's watching every move they make."

Rick paled as he realized the magnitude of the situation. They were outnumbered, scattered across hostile territory, and running out of time.

The Final Countdown

Each team was closing in on their respective bomb locations, but Ocelot's mercenaries weren't the only threat. Strange, mutated creatures-hybrids with reptilian features and unsettling agility-began to emerge from the shadows, proving Ada's warning about the T-virus was all too real.

And just as things seemed dire, Ada herself reappeared on the communication channels. "Listen carefully. I know you all doubt me. But if you want to survive this mission, you'll follow my instructions to the letter."

Snake's voice cut in, hard and untrusting. "Why should we believe you?"

Ada's tone was sharp. "Because Ocelot is playing a game far beyond what any of you are prepared for. I was a part of his plan from the start-but I'm here to end it."

The countdown to disarm the bombs was ticking. Each team had to make a choice: trust Ada or go their own way.
