Umbrella Reborn

Ada tried to call Leo, but he would not answer at this time.
She was questioning herself why she was seeing umbrella symbols all over the place.
But she already knew the answer to that rhetorical question.
Revolver Ocelot had taken control of it, and reopened it for business.
Ada would approach with care.

- Ahhh. Miss Ada, You finally made it back. I hope you didn't get into any trouble?
- Nothing out of the unusual.
Ocelot ponders, while rubbing his chin.
- Hm. What did you bring for us this time?
- You're going to like this one...
- Really? impress me.
- The Special Forces Stars has been disbanded by the government.
- On what grounds?
- They find out their main frame has been breached.
- Miss... Ada; Stars... were never a big concern of mine. I hunt bigger prey. It's Fox Hound that does concern me. However, I must congratulate you for the feat. It's one less... inconvenience, to have to deal with.
It does remind me why I hired you.
- So what's next?
- As you can see, umbrella is up and running.

- Metal Gear miss Ada. Small versions of it.
- Fox Hound had one of those things. They used it to fight a T-Rex that had been genetically modified with the T-Virus.

Ada went to her apartment, trying to call Leon on the way there, but he wouldn't answer.
"Come on Leon. Pick up."

Him and the other stars members were called for questioning the next day by the government officials.

GO1: Are you aware that Miss Ada Wong double crossed you?

No one replied. So the man continued.
- You willingly let a spy into Stars Headquarters, and allowed her to use anything she wanted at will; without supervision of any kind.
Didn't the previous events taught you lot anything?

Leon: We've known eachother for a long time. She's on our side.
GO1: Mr Leon Kennedy, your feelings for this woman is affecting your better judgement.
Chris: She is giving us valuable information about Ocelot's Operations.
GO2: If that is the case, why hasn't she revealed the location of his base of operations?
GO1: Did you even ask?
Chris: She said that she could not reveal it yet because she knew the information would spread like wildfire, and Raiding it too early, would make Ocelot flee and just restarted somewhere e....
OG: Oh, she thought that was too early... a...
Chris: She wants him to settle that base, so he runs out of resources, and...
OG1: Runout of resources? Mr Redfield. Has it occured to you that she was never on your side to begin with and is just making you waste time?
Jill: Like he said. She has given us a lot of valuable intel.
GO2: What kind of intel?
Jill: Ocelot is planning a nuclear attack on every major city in the world using Metal Gear...

The Officials look at eachother, and the continued questioning.
- What else Miss Valentine.
- He is... his, scientists are working on a formula to create hybrids with Dinosaur and Human DNA, and then plans to use the T-Virus on them.
GO1: That's some cocktail he's creating there.

Said the G.O. sarcastically.
Jill: That's not all....
GO2: Do continue.
Jill: He's planning of using metal gear thech to add exoskeletons to the soldiers.
Chris: He'll have an unstoppable army.
GO1: ... and where... supposedly, did Ocelot get the funding for this type of campaign? He doesn't strike me much as a entrepreneur or a business man.
Chris: That... you better ask Snake.
GO2: Who's Snake?
Leon: Come on... you know who he is... and, in fact; you probably knew about all this too.
GO1: Offcourse we know Mr Kennedy. It's our business to know. We didn't get this far by selling flowers in the market.
Chris: So what was the point of all this?
GO1: You still compromised a government agency. Including Your jobs, your career, and millions of innocent lives.
Leon: He just wants to find out if we gave that access to Ada on purpose or we genuinely fell for her double crossing.
GO1: Very good Mr Kennedy; I see that your police training did serve you for something.
GO2: You may leave the office for now.
GO1: But don't go anywhere; you're not off the hook.

They left the office and drove to a bar so they could relax with a few drinks.
Leon: This sucks.
Jill: Tell me about it.
Chris: and while they're waisting our time, Ocelot takes one step further to a nuclear holocaust.
Leon: You should call claire and see how they're doing.
Chris: I told you. I'm not putting my sister in jeopardy too. You know she won't be allowed to share any information.
Jill: You don't have to.
Chris: What?
Jill: Just be subtle about it... all you have to do is ask her if everything is alright. She'll know how to answer.
Leon: You don't have to, she's calling me. I had put the phone on silent. Ada called a few times too.
Jill: It might be important.
Leon: Wait. Let me get this.

Leon gets up and walks to a little park near by the cafe.
Claire: Leon.
Leon: What's wrong, you sound... upset.

Claire explained everything about what happened, and let leon know that she quit after they asked her to betray their confidence in order to obtain Ada's contacts so they could trace her and find out where Ocelot base of operations is located.
She asked Leon not to tell anything to chris just yet. She would tell her in her own time.
She decided that she had enough of this war, and wanted to start enjoying life as a normal young woman.

She proceeded to tell Leon that she really likes him, but would not expect him to do the same for her, and that she understands that if he feels like he needs to keep fighting; to do what he thinks it's best.
She had enough of the pressure and that everything was starting to get to her.
She was in fact, just a civi who happens to have survived raccoon city outbreak.
She then said she would see Leon later and took a ride on her motorcycle to the countryside for a few days.
When Chris asked about her, Leon just said that she would be out of town for a few days and not to worry.

Leon tried to call Ada, but this time it was her who would not answer.
They wondered if everything was alright.
