⚠️TW⚠️: Shitty Parents, Swearing, Hyperventilating, Death

No One's Pov

"LEFT!" Kokichi yelled, signaling to a crew member. "TOP!" They said back to him. A fight between a straggling Enoshima ship and Shuichi's ship broke out as the shio needed resources and they weren't willing to give up any every needed resources. "Ouma! Right!" Someone yelled but it was too late. They struck Kokichi's arm, crushing his watch. Kokichi didn't notice as the adrenaline from killing seemed to kick in. Slashing a few more heads off, Kokichi seems to kill the last few of the ship.

Cheers from the crew roared behind him. He turned, shocked at the fact they considered that impressive. Suddenly, someone from the ship came from where the wheel of the ship sat, facing Kokichi. "You, YOU KILLED MY WIFE. NOW I'M GONNA KILL YOU.", "......Uhm ok." They fought for a little, Kokichi winning. He pushed him into the ocean and threw something at him. A sword that had hit him in his neck. "Кто-нибудь из вас, гнилые суки, хочет драться!? (Just giving into the memes. "Anymore of you rotten bitches wanna fight!?" According to Google) " Kokichi giggled a little. They all heard two splashing sounds and started laughing. Once the laughter died down, Shuichi yelled "Search the ship for anymore, if not you all can have the day free." When everything was checked over and confirmed safe, everyone when to their respective rooms. Kokichi tied up his hair and got ready for the shower while Shuichi sat on his bed, waiting for him to get out.

----Later----

It was 3AM when Kokichi woke up. After failing to fall asleep again, he decided to talk to Katara to dull the boredom. However, to his demise, the watch stayed blank. He tried twisting and turning the monitor again and again, silently repeating "No, No, No, No!" Tears started to fall down his face onto the watch as he continued to tinker with the watch. He stopped the tinkering and instead sat at the frame of his bed, going through all his greatest memories caused by his older sister. He continued to repeat the same thing, "No, No, No, No!" Shuichi yet again was unable to sleep so he sat up to get his phone. What he saw was the 'ever so unbreakable' Kokichi Ouma sitting on the floor with tears streaming down his face and a blank stare into the base of the other's bedframe.

He got out of bed to get a better look at Kokichi. "Ouma? Are you ok?", "it's all my fault.....It's......all......... my........fault. She's gone now, because of me....." Kokichi continuously whispered these things. This spiral sent the younger into a heap of wheezing for air as it'd seen to have been cut short. Shuichi noticed this and helped him up and they walked to the kitchen.

Once in the kitchen, he ran cold water in a cup and handed it to Kokichi. He recollected himself, breathing in and out repeatedly. "So, what happened?" Shuichi broke the silence between them. "My... Umm-" Kokichi caught himself, breathing in a pattern again.  "You don't have to tell me." Shuichi reassured him. "Thanks." They both walked back to the room, a sweet silence between the two. Once in the room, they both sat down on Shuichi's bed. Kokichi sipped the water again before ending the savory quiet noise of the night.

"Thank you." He said. "Of course Kokichi." Shuichi replied. "I think I can tell you about it." Kokichi mumbled loud enough for Shuichi to hear. "Really? I mean I'm not forcing you into anything you know.", "Yea, it's something I've mostly gotten over by now.", "Ok, just letting you know, you can stop at any time if you start ferling uncomfortable." Shuichi reminded him. "I told you, I'm fine about it now." He reassured him. "Ok....", "So you've heard of the death of the former Captain of The Dice, he died by being pushed overboard?", "Mhmm, Captain Yukio Oum- Wait!", "Yup, that was my 'father'." Kokichi gagged a bit mentioning his late relative. "Oh. I'm sorry for your loss.", "Nah, the fucker deserved it, I hope he's rotting in hell as he hears me say this." Kokichi smirked. "Well uhm- continue."
"Ok.... So my watch is really special to me." Kokichi looked at the blank screen on his wrist. "I can tell", "My friend made it for me. It allows me to talk to a person special to me beyond the grave." Shuichi looked at the watch. Did it really hold that much to cause a person to become a wreck when it breaks? "She was my everything. I was nothing when she died. And now I've lost her again." Kokichi muttered. "Who was 'she'?", "My twin sister, Katara. She- she was my everything." Kokichi leaned in the wall while trying not to think of that day. "What happened to her?" Kokichi held his breath a little. "My- She- No.... I got her killed." Shuichi looked at Kokichi, shocked. He thought about it, if he had gotten Tsumugi killed and he froze. It was bone chilling. "How did you.. get her killed? What happened?" Kokichi tensed at the question. "She sacrificed herself for me."

("How did singing kill your grandma? What song was she singing?" Kokichi tensed at the question. "I was the one singing." I'm sorry)

Shuichi tried to grab Kokichi's hand to calm him as he was shaking a bit. "My dad wanted to punish me for being gay, so he tried to make me 'walk the plank'.", "Like that old saying?", "Yup. But into a shark tank." Shuichi looked concernly at Kokichi, wondering how someone as successful as him would be some traumatized in the past. "He stripped me, ridiculed me, and laughed when I was about to fall. Then she pulled me forward and fell herself. My dad was furious but my now mom killed him. After that, My best friend made me a watch that would let me talk to her and I've cherished it since. Now it's gone."

Shuichi sympathetically looks as Kokichi baried himself in the wall. "I'm sorry that happened. I wish there was something we could do but..", "It's beyond repair, I know.", "May i see it for a second." Kokichi pitifully handed it over. "Mhm! I think one of my inventors onboard could replicate the model. It wouldn't be exactly the same but it'd have most of the functions." Kokichi face lit up. "Really?" He brightly asked. Shuichi nodded slightly, still observing it. Kokichi jumped up, squealing like a little girl meeting their idol. Shuichi happily watched Kokichi bounce around enthusiastically. "Thank you!" He said.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOUR FUCKING!" A Tired Tsumugi yelled from across the hall. "Sorry!" They both said nervously, ignoring the last part.
The excitement died down and both were tired by the night they just spent carelessly. It was now 4:30AM and when they both drifted asleep, one happy and the other relieved.
