4 days before the crash

Nora sat in the library, books out, highlighters out, and notebooks open.

Chris, Matt, and Nic walk by and see her.
"Is she not going to watch our practice?" Chris asked as they stood there watching her.
She seemed to furiously be taking notes.

"It's cold out, she probably just wants to stay inside," Nic said as Matt nodded.
"She probably is just starring early on her history paper," Matt said as the brothers hummed in unison.

"We should get Geral and Sof... Keep Nora company," Matt smiled as he started walking off as the brothers shared a look.

"So what's up between you and Nora?" Chris teased as the brothers tried to catch up to him.

"For like the millionth time- Nothing!" Matt said but a blush was still apparent on his cheeks.

"You have to be lying to us! You guys act like a married couple," Nic said as Matt rolled his eyes, smiling.

"And? We are just good friends!" Matt said as he opened the doors to the locker room, his brothers following right behind.

"You guys have a better relationship than I and Sofia do... Don't tell Sof I said that, "Chris said as he looked at his brothers before opening his locker.

Matt and Nic share a look before laughing.

"Anyways... I think you guys would make a cute couple," Nic said as he sat down on a bench.

"I think so too," Chris said before high-fiving Nic.

"Well, I didn't ask for your opinion so..." Matt trailed off leaving his brothers and walking to the field.

"Oh, you think you're so funny!" Nic screamed making Matt quietly laugh.

"Matt! Chris!" The coach called the brothers once they made it to the field.

"Why are you late?"

"We were at the library," Matt quickly said as Chris rolled his eyes.

"Take 2 laps around the field. Now." The Coach said as they nodded.

"And don't ever be late again!" He trailed off as he walked away.

Matt noticed Sofia and Geral sitting on the bleachers.
"Guys!" Matt called out for them.

"Nora is in the library," He said as they shrugged.

"We know," Sofia said as Matt rolled his eyes.

"You should go and keep her company," Matt said as the girls share a look.

"Or you should just go inside because it's really cold," Matt said as they nodded.

"Okay, just come and get us after practice please," Geral smiled before they both stand up and leave.

"Matt! Come on!" Chris said; already on his last lap.

"Yeez! I'm coming,"

"I'm bored," Geral said as she put her phone down.

Nora looked up from her book, "You could do homework," Nora simply said as Sofia laughed.
