Matt walked into the lunch room and sat on his table and pulled out his phone, waiting for his friends. Suddenly Allison, a junior, walked up to Matt.

"Hi," She sat next to him. "Hello?"

Matt had one class with her about 2 two years ago, and they had barely talked.

"I heard about Nora! I'm so happy she is okay now!" Allison said as Matt nodded.

"Me too," He said dryly trying to cut off the younger girl. "So... Are you guys together?"

This question took Matt by surprise as he looked at her. "No, Why?"

He thought about the day of the crash and sighed.
"Prom is approaching and I just wanted to know if you were going with someone," She explained as he widened his eyes.

"Why?"

"So I could go with you," She said shyly as Matt blushed not being used to this type of attention.

"I have liked you for a long time, and I would like to see if there is something here," The girl explain as Matt smiled.

"Then... I'll get back to you Ally," Matt said as the girl smiled to herself and stood up to leave.

Matt watched her walk away and blushed once again.

"What the fuck was that about?" Chris said as he sat down in front of his brother, Sofia next to him.

"What?"

"You were definitely flirting," Chris said to Matt pretending he had heard everything but he had just seen her leave.

"What? No, I wasn't," Matt said as Sofia rolled her eyes.

"You can't be flirting with people like that. Nora is-" Chris cut Sofia off by widening his eyes at her.

"You told her?" Matt asked in disbelief.

"No-"

"Yes, but in his defense it sorta slipped out," Sofia said as she leaned into Chris. 

"So you told her about me and Nora?" Matt asked again in disbelief.

"What about you and Nora," Nic said as he approached the table and sat down, next to Matt.

"Oh my god!" Matt muttered as he face planted onto the table.

"What's happening here?" Geral asked as she sat on the other side of Matt.

"Something happened between Nora and Matt," Nic explained as Geral nodded.

"Oh yeah, they confessed," Geral said with no remorse.

"What?" Nic basically screamed.

"How do you know? I didn't tell you?" Chris said as Geral went to speak but Nic cut her off. "You knew?"

"Ethan told me," Geral said shrugging as Matt looked at Chris.

"You told Ethan?" Matt said as Chris smiled sheepishly.
