Being in a new state by yourself with no family could be sad and depressing for some but for me it's a total breath of fresh air. I came here to Oregon to get away from the drama and heartbreak that seemed to surround me back home in Florida. I originally wasn't going to come here but me walking in on my boyfriend of 4 years fucking my favorite cousin in our bed changed that for me. You should have since the look on their faces when they saw me it was priceless because not only were they caught but they saw me holding my 45MM at them. Andrew begging and my cousin Dasha cried all I did was roll my eyes and fire two warning shots to get them the fuck out my apartment.
Dasha doing this to me hurts more than anyone could know. We have been best friends since we were kids and for her to sleep with my now ex-boyfriend is trifflin as fuck. But if I really sit here and think about it, she has done some suspect ass shit to other folks she claimed to love, so why should I think I would be any different. I mean she slept with her own mother's now ex-boyfriend, and that's her whole ass momma, the shit is just two fucked up like on some Jerry Springer shit.
Andrew on the other hand that shit cuts me deep. Deep because I was not only coming home to tell him I was turning down the job offer in Oregon but to also tell him that I was pregnant. Yep, you heard me right I'm pregnant with this I cannot keep my dick outta your cousin having ass man, after they left the apartment, I cried for a while and packed up my shit I wanted and burned all off Andrews clothes and also wrote above the bed "oh by the way my ego is preggo bitch" and taped the sonogram underneath. It was time for me to leave and start a new chapter and it looks like I will be doing the one Patti Labelle style on my own.
I came to Oregon about two weeks early to get everything set up. I needed to find an apartment and also a good OBGYN as well, and I just wanted to be settled before I started work.
I made sure when I got settled to call my mom and dad and my best friend as well to fill them in on all the drama. I kinda left like a thief in the night, once I explained to them everything that happened all of them had the same thing to say which was "be beating the black off of Dasha". I told them don't even bother but to be honest me saying that to all three of them is like something falling on deaf ears they are gonna do what they want.
After my talk with my family, I sat alone in my new apartment and cried. I wish I could have what my mom and dad have, they have been together for over 25 years and are just as madly in love if not more than when they got together. I longed to have something like that but right now my main focus is starting this new job and providing for my child.

It's my first day on my new job I woke up extremely early and got myself started. Since I cannot have coffee right now, I choose a smoothie from the coffee shop right down the street from my new place, I also grabbed a bagel breakfast sandwich as well. When I finally get to the office it's fucking huge, I walk to the reception area give my name and get my badge and I'm told were to go. I walk to the elevator and hop on and say a silent prayer to myself "please Lord lets this day go great". As I head into the big mail room, I'm greeted by a pretty light skinned girl she greets me and tells me her name is Asia. Asia walks me to my new office and tells me if I need anything to let her know, she also advices me that I have a meeting with the head of the company soon to say I'm not nervous would be a lie.
Some cute guy named Jacob comes and takes me to meet my new boss and the head of the company I knock on the door and hear very husky voice say, "come in", as I head into the office, I lock eyes with the most handsome man I have ever seen. I walk up and sit down in the chair in front of his desk and smile and say, "hi Mr. Nix I'm Callie your new head of the mail room, it's so nice to meet you". I finish with a big smile on my face, he looks at me and smiles back bright and says, "no Callie the pleasure is truly mine".
