Chapter 8

Narrator:
*In the daycare it was naptime at the pizzaplex.

Leo and Melina had left beforehand.

Moondrop was tenderly watching the children sleep.

He quietly entertained the ones that were up.

Sundrop was expected and sad.

He kept rambling about his...Friend.

When Moondrop asks for the name of this friend Sundrop stopped.

Sundrop became distraught.

He did not even get the name of this person.

Moondrop rolled his eyes.

Sundrop continued to be upset over not knowing its friend's name.

(Moondrop: "You  remember what your friend looks like right?")

(Sundrop: " Uh...No, no I don't! All I know is that they were very nice and helped in the daycare a lot today.)

Moondrop gave a kid a plushie and a fidget toy.

(Moondrop: "Sun you know we have first base pictures when our system detected faces.)

(Sundrop: "it's so blurry though! Every single one. It's like a smudge where their head and face would be.)

Moondrop gently caught a little girl who was trying to walk around in the dark.

The little girl had paper dolls in her hands and she seemed upset.

Moondrop patted her head and gave him a blanket.*

Random little girl:
*she whispered*
"Where is the mask...
The masked lady???"
*she smiled sadly and looked at the paper dolls.
Then back up to the face that was lit up with red eyes.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"The Masky lady?"
*He was puzzled.
But when he said that the girl nodded in excitement.*

Random little girl:
"Mhm! The masked lady!
She played with me!
Look!
Look, at the dollys she made me."
*She was staying quiet but the excitement was unexpected.
She pushed the paper origami dolls up so the moon could see them.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"I see!
But I think she will be back when the lights come on."

Random little girl:
"Oh, okay Mr. Moon."
*That must have been all she wanted as she laid down and fell asleep after that.*

Narrator:
*Again a vague statement.

The little girl mentioned a masked lady.

(Moondrop: "Sunny did you hear that?")

(Sundrop: "Here what?")

(Moondrop: "Nevermind, take a still picture of your friend next time.")

Moondrop walks around just to make sure all the kids are accounted for.

(Sundrop:" What do you mean by still photo?
Why would that help?
Moon, you are hard to understand sometimes.
But I will trust you.)

(Moondrop: "I know you want an answer Sun.
Look, if our software doesn't find a face on a person what happens sometimes?)

(Sundrop: "It tries to fill in the gaps!")
