Chapter 12

Sundrop/Moondrop:《S.D.Online》
"How is the book?
The one I read to the kids was fun!
It was about how the princess knight.
She saved the cursed fairy princess from the forest.
They lived happily ever after!"
*He said clueless and sweetly.*

Melina Bay:
"I know, the kids liked that one too.
But I wanted your opinion on Gatsby.
It has been a couple of days."
(Did he not read it?)
*She scratched her mask and turned away from him shyly.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《S.D.Online》
"Gatsby? Wait like the book I just-
Oh My Goodness!
You are the one who spoke with us that day!
That book is so good.
I have never read anything like that before.
Thank you for that!"
*He was giddy.*

Melina Bay:
"I am glad you like it.
Now, I must inform you.
I am allowed to stay during daycare.
I will sit at the desk.
Nixson said it best that I hide.
But I told Moondrop I wanted to meet face to face. "
*she said calmly as she started to distance herself to show she was going to the desk.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《S.D.Online》
"No, no,no-you should real, real leave...!"
*He was quietly panicking as he voiced his response. *
"Moondrop drop is not listening or seeing you right now.
You should leave.
I can't force you out as you have the requirements to do so.
But PLEASE!
I don't want anyone to get hurt."
*He quickly and quietly begged.*

Melina Bay:
"Sorry, I am a woman of my word.
You should go help the children now.
The kids are waiting for you, and there are 5 minutes till.
I promise if anything happens, I will do my best not to make a sound."
*She walked to the daycare desk and spoke in a low calm voice.
Although it felt wrong, Sundrop was nowhere near as upset or concerned as he was before. *

*He turned around and for a moment his face was only hopeless.
He quickly went back to his energetic self and got all the kids better prepared for nap time.*
"That's right, friends it's time to sleep.
My good friend Moondrop will be here when the lights are out to help you.
I will be back when the lights are back on.
Sweet dreams."
*With that the lights dim to black.
After a minute 2 red dots hovered around the children.
So the kids giggled as they were gently inspected and tucked in.
Until suddenly the 2 dots did a glance around, just to double-take what was at the desk.
The red lights softly illuminated the new face of the animatronic.
Moondrop did another check on the kids.
Then he disappeared. *

Melina Bay:
(Where did he go?)
*her vision had adapted to the dark as best as it could.
But the moment the red tint over the children vanished the 20 or so feet in front of her were pitch black.
It was silent. *

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
*A low chuckling started and continued for a few minutes.
The chuckling seemed to be far away until it stopped.
Long slender white and blue fingers crept along the outer edges of the counter.*
" Naughty, Naughty...
Not introducing yourself when staff like you shouldn't be here.
How about we take 60 seconds to talk about this before I punish you."
*He spoke in a low and quiet voice.*

Melina Bay:
"Did not introduce myself as you had children to care for."
*she started to get up.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"Naughty! You are to stay where you are."
*He hissed as he lunged onto the desk counter and loomed over Melina.
His eyes fixed on her lighting her up in a red glow.*
"Explain why you are HERE your 60 seconds, start now..!"

Melina Bay:
*She pause for a moment then spoke calmly and Swiftly.*
"As a woman of my word, the attempt to introduce myself in person.-
I was wondering how you and Sundrop liked the book.-
Unlike some, I got permission to be here.-
Also, I chose to sit here and wait rather than hide as that is both at risk of waking the children and annoying you.-
I was told to hide by 2 other parties.
Also, I apologize if this encounter upset you.
*She stopped there and took some breaths.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"Well, well, well.
I enjoyed the book and the letter very much.
Also thank you for taking into consideration my situation with the children.
But, punishment is still required as staff should not be in the daycare when lights are out."
*He lunged forward and dug his fingers into her sides as he whisked her out of the chair.
He handed her like a rag doll as he climbed around the jungle gym.
Melina only let out muffled gasps and grunts from the pain doing her best to keep quiet.
Soon enough they were at the top Moondrop got ahold of her hands.*

Melina Bay:
"What, do you plan on doing?!"
*She whispered her monotone cracking to frustration and pain as she spoke. *

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"Me?
Oh, I want to strip that mask of yours to see what look you are giving me right now."
*He said in a low eager voice as his free hand started trying to pull the pale mask off her face.*

Melina Bay:
*A sense of Terror washed over her.
She started to fight against him.
When her hands were almost free she kicked him as hard as she could and ran for it.
She weaved through the jungle gym as quietly and as quickly as possible.
She took off one shoe at a twist and threw it in the opposite direction of herself.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"Oh you, Naughty, Naughty lady."
*He followed the sound of the shoe.*

Melina Bay:
*she quickly and quietly made her way to the other side of the daycare.
She found a little area out of the way and dark.
There was a single little crack in it that she could see most of the jungle gym through it.
But she couldn't see Moondrop.
She could only hear him from time to time clunking in the jungle gym on the other side.
Then as she started to feel safe old memories drag themselves into the light.
Without the mask, it all comes flooding back.
The thing she had to endure.
The things she is capable of.
The things that haunt her.
At just that moment she let out a muffled gasp and sob.
At that moment everything went silent.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"What was that?"
*his voice suddenly sounded so close.*
"You know if the only thing that got you to react was me picking at your mask.....
I wonder what you would do if I just.
Picked you APART."
*He rushed down the tube straight at Melina.
Again he pulled her out and took her to the top of the jungle gym.
This Time he readjusted her and got a hold of the collar on her shirt.
He pulled her up and dangled her off the Edge.*
"You know.
In the end, I just wanted to see what face you were making.
But, since you had to be so defensive I think dropping you is a much better punishment."

Melina Bay:
(For a normal person this high up could brake bones.
I just need to put up an act.
Then he can think he won.)
"D-Drop, me?!
You could send me to the hospital!"
*she said weakly.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《M.D.Online》
"Exactly, but if you don't, your future punishments will be far less serious.
Do you think that's a good trade?
After all, you have kept so quiet over all of this.
Then when I spoke to you earlier you apologized.
I think I like that deal.
If you want to work in the daycare and have less severe punishments you have to survive this fall and Gain no serious injuries!"
*A twisted grin plastered his face as he loosened one finger at a time from her collar.*

Melina Bay:
(Nows my chance.)
*as she fell she kicked herself off one of the jungle gym tubes so she could roll when she landed on the floor.
She was successful with this but you end up knocking the window out of herself.
So she quietly ended up gasping as she lay there on the floor.
After a few minutes, she got up and walked to the desk as if nothing happened.*
