Chapter 5

Narrator:
*After a long day, Nixson when to the small corner store and got some Alfredo noodles and an assortment of herbs, spices, and vegetables.
The last thing he picked out was chicken and tomatoes.
He cooked it up and put it in a box.
He got dressed and left his apartment to go to the hospital.
He picked up some daffodils on the way.
He made it to the hospital and at the desk, they let him up to a room where a frail woman was.
She called for him at her bedside.*

Nixson's Mother:
"Oh, my little Nixson, look at you!
Hug your ma!"
*She weakly moved her arms as Nixson came close and hugged her.*

Nixson Cedar:
"Mama, you know I would come.
I made you your favorite!
So let's eat together, okay ma?"
*He was teary-eyed and he moved away from her and went to replace the wilted flower in the vase by the window.*

Nixson's Mother:
"You know I don't like going that long without seeing my boy!
After all, you look more like your father every day!"
*Her sweet welcoming voice had Nixson in tears as he got out some plates and cups.*

Nixson Cedar:
" Don't worry ma, I will come more often.
I miss you."

Narrator:
*He and his mother ate together in the hospital.
They enjoyed it.
And Nixson was both happy and sad to see her.
As she had bone density issues and just by walking down the stairs the bones in her left calf shattered.
She has been in the hospital ever since.
The small house they had his sister bought as a way to help pay for the medical bills.
So when his mother gets out of the hospital she will still have her home.*

~The next day~
Nixson Cedar:
*He was up at 8 am working on the replacement balancing guides for the animatronics as that part goes out the most often.
When the employee door opened.*
"Which one can't walk- oh it's you."
(No one comes down here unless an animatronic has an issue.)
*Leo came up to the unloading table mumbling before she started speaking.*

Leo Kirk:
"Is there a way to activate the security mode on the daycare attendant?
Like remotely?"
*She asked nervously*
(If the security features are triggered and it looks like the new girl was the one who triggered it then she would have to be fired!)

Nixson Cedar:
"Yeah, but it's only done in emergencies, don't you remember?"
(I swear if you do something stupid. )
*He put down the electronic he was working on.*

Leo Kirk:
*glancing at the animatronics stat monitor.*
" What is a Consent code?"
(Why is that a thing on the animatronics file.)

Nixson Cedar:
"Oh, the animatronics have multi-level memory storage.
As the A. I understand and feel like humans to an extent, letting them have some control over the things they remember or what is changed in their appearance...
Helps us from being the bad guys in their eyes."
(as she cares, she thinks that they are just another tool.)
*He shrugged and walked over to the outside of the safe box for animatronic services.*

Leo Kirk:
"So they get the choice to withhold information that could help if something bad were to happen?
That's ridiculous!"
(Now they get a free will?
What have we come to?!)
*She was all huffy about it.*

Nixson Cedar:
"They have had this feature for a long time.
It was put in as necessarily the key to keeping animatronic A. I am under control.
This has kept any of the pizza less from ending up like the one 20 years ago."
*He said as he got back to work.*
(Yeah, nothing but things.)

Leo Kirk:
"Really? Do you think that is what keeps this place safe?
Ha! You are insane."
(Who does he think he is.)
*She was historical, she started to head for the exit of the parts and service area. *

Nixson Cedar:
"Of course.
I am the one with missing screws.
That makes perfect sense!"
(Bitch, get off your high horse, you're bad with kids and jealous.)
*He rolled his eyes and went back to work.*

Narrator:
*Jack was taken off that day as he wanted to spend time with his little girl.
Melina was putting some of the packages she got in her room.
Nixson was just cleaning the parts and service area as well as getting parts ready.
Leo was in the food strip area just trying the free samples.
After some time Leo made her way down to the daycare.
And Melina was on her way too.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《S.D.Online》
"Good morning Leo! How are you?"
*His excitement was expected as he was Sundrop, but Leo was frustrated. *

Leo Kirk:
" I swear, if you mess up today your over, you got that Sunny?!"
(This mask brat will be here soon enough.)
*She stormed into the daycare and sat at her desk.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《S.D.Online》
"What do you mean? Is something important happening-"
*He was cut off by a knock at the daycare entrance.*
"Let me get that quick."
(Moondrop: Who knocks on the daycare door at this time?)
(Sundrop:Maybe it's a new friend!)
*He skipped over to the door and opened it.*
"Hello, new friend- wait!
We meet before. You are the one who helped with story time!☆*~"

Melina Bay:
"Hello there Sundrop.
Yeah, it's me again, mind if I help out today?
And get a good morning hug from my first daycare friend?"
*She said it in a smooth monotone voice.
The way she held herself and motioned for a hug was filled with warmth.
Something most people can't convey so comfortably.*

Sundrop/Moondrop:《S.D.Online》
"Oh my goodness, OH MY GOODNESS-YESSSSS.
Come here morning hugs are the best, Best, BEST THING EVER!"
* This is the first time in a while that he's been giddy with excitement overseeing another staff member. So he gave her the biggest warmest hug he could muster.*

Melina Bay:
"Thanks, I needed that. You're a good hugger."
* she complimented him full-heartedly even though it was in the mountain of her voice. She got up on her tippy toes, to give him a pat on his round head and then passed him into the daycare.*

Leo Kirk:
" You two keep it quiet over there.
We're not expecting very many kids today, so don't go get any ideas."
* she said angrily as she went back to scrolling her phone.*

Melina Bay:
" Don't listen to her, after we need to get ready for the kiddos right?
So what activity should we get ready for them today?"
*A bit of her monotone speaking broke into a motherly sweetness.
The idea that she wants to spend time getting ready for the kids, rather than looking at how to clean up before the kids get here sparks something in Sun Drop.
A bit of happiness before the job started.*
