As the battle began, a variety of rangers from different worlds came together to fight Lord Drakkon and his army, being led by his daughter, who had become the new green ranger. Justin looked around at the battle, remembering a similar one he had years ago. It was the final day that his team fought together, only to lose their base and powers. "Justin, over here!" He heard a voice call our. He turned to see Cassie waving over and rushed towards her. "We need to stay close," She suggested. "You're the only team I have left." She added. Justin hated to think about it, but she was right. Drakkon had killed their teammates right in front of them. Just then, a group of Drakkon’s soldiers surrounded the two and prepared to kill. Cassie and Justin looked at each other and prepared to fight. "Shift into Turbo!" They shouted in unison, activating their suits.
Inside the base, however, a soldier had gained access to the cell and set Hyper Reality Justin free. "About time you show up," He stated to the soldier. "Time to have some fun." He said before pausing. Something was off. The soldier had come alone, usually they travel in groups. "You're not one of Drakkon’s goons." He stated. The soldier became a glitch-like appearance for a moment before becoming a form of ranger he hadn't seen before. "Who are you supposed to be?' Hyper Reality Justin questioned. "A friend, at least under the current circumstances." The mysterious purple ranger spoke with a feminine voice. "Are you another Ranger Slayer?" Hyper Reality Justin questioned. The ranger shook her head. "I am not of this world, or even this realm," She explained. "One with its own connections to the Morphin Grid."
"So you came to kill me," Hyper Reality Justin questioned. "Well, you can certainly try." He told the ranger. "You're nothing but a broken child," the ranger replied. "You wouldn't be worth the effort." She added, revealing she had come for a different reason. "My queen, Dark Oracle," She told Hyper Reality Justin. "She’s gotten quite an interest in you." She added. Hyper Reality Justin looked at her in a challenging way. "What could your queen possibly offer me," He questioned. "Lord Drakkon has an army and will recreate this world." He stated. The ranger understood this and gave a nod. "In his image, of course," She replied, explaining that he would just be turned into a prisoner afterward. "But Dark Oracle, she can give you power beyond what Drakkon has promised." She explained.
Meanwhile, back at the battle, Rebecca and Kim were fighting off some of Drakkon’s army together. "How does it feel to make it official?" Kim asked, referring to the power. "Honestly, I'm not sure I'm worth it." Rebecca admitted as she used the Dragonblade to attack the soldiers. "Hey, Tommy chose you to carry on his legacy," Kim responded as she fired arrows. "He wouldn't have trusted you with this if he thought you weren't able to handle it." She told Rebecca. Kim reminded Rebecca that Tommy had given them both a chance to separate themselves from Drakkon. "Let's show him it wasn't for nothing." Kim encouraged. Rebecca nodded and attacked the soldiers again.
Kim looked around before noticing two guys who had joined the fight. "Bulk and Skull?" She questioned in surprise. Rebecca looked with the same expression before seeing both of the men morph into orange and purple rangers. "When the hell did this happen?" Kim questioned, trying to process what she had seen. "I don't have any clue." Rebecca responded. Cassie and Justin had also noticed the morphing and were confused themselves. "You saw that too, right," Justin asked Cassie. "I'm not losing my mind?" He questioned. "Oh, trust me, I'm right there with you." She responded before the two of them went to help Rebecca and Kim
Upon reaching them, Rebecca looked up and noticed Lord Drakkon headed for a building some distance away. She began following him before Justin walked by her side. "You need to stay here." She ordered him. "You're crazy if you think you’re fighting him alone." Justin responded. Rebecca looked back at Kim and Cassie in hopes they'd suggest otherwise. "We'll take care of things here." Kim stated. Cassie seemed worried but agreed. Seeing no other option, Rebecca gave in and turned to Justin. "Fine, but if things get worse, you're coming back here." She told him.
A few moments later, the two of them entered the building and began to look around. "This is weird," Justin whispered to Rebecca. She didn't answer but looked at him and knew he was correct. There was no sign of anyone else inside the building. "Come on, it couldn't hurt to check the building out." Becky said as she started moving forward. Suddenly they heard a noise and froze. A hand grabbed Justin, turning him towards another person. "Dad?" He asked, recognizing the man almost immediately. "You can still stop this," the man told him. "You don't have to follow Drakkon." He said. Justin then pulled away from the man and backed up. "You're his father, the me in this world?" He asked.
Rebecca came over and immediately glared daggers into the man before getting in between him and Justin. "I know I messed up with him." The man stated. "Save your sob story, Stewart," Rebecca told the man. "He knows exactly what you did to your son here." She told him. "He wouldn't have been on that, but if it wasn't for you!" The man shouted. "No, I wouldn't have had to make that decision if it wasn't for you!" Rebecca argued back. "You put your son down the path to be manipulated by Drakkon," She reminded him. "I put him on that bus in hopes of avoiding all of this." She added.
Just then, there was a slow clapping in the building. "What a show," Hyper Reality Justin said as he emerged from the shadows. "It's honestly touching, really." He added. The man looked at his son in shock. "What has Drakkon done to you?" He asked. Hyper Reality Justin shook his head with a smirk. "Nothing worse than you," He replied. "In fact, I've been looking forward to seeing your face again." He said coldly. Rebecca and Justin began to attack before Hyper Reality Justin used a device to put a barrier around him and his father.
Rebecca knew what was about to happen as she saw Hyper Reality Justin walk closer to his father. "We need to go, now." She told Justin as she tried pulling him away. Justin ignored her and kept trying whatever he could to break the barrier. Hyper Reality Justin knelt down to his father. "This really shouldn't surprise anyone," He stated. "After all, I'm the monster that you created," He added as he generated a dagger with a glitch-like appearance into his hand. "And the soldier Drakkon forged." He finished before striking him with the dagger, turning him into a glitch-like pattern before crystallizing and shattering him.
While Hyper Reality Justin was pleased with his actions, Justin was in disbelief. He had just watched his doppelgänger kill his own father without a second thought and felt nothing for it. "You didn't have to do that," He told his doppelgänger. "There were other ways you could have dealt with him." He added. Hyper Reality Justin nodded and turned to Justin. "And by dealing with him, you mean punishing, right?" He questioned. "That's the difference between you and I, blue ranger," He stated as he stood up and walked closer. "You're too weak to go this far," He said. "Too weak to do what needs to be done."
Rebecca looked at Hyper Reality Justin and noticed a purple crystal with a pulsing glitch-like appearance, similar to the dagger. "That's not your Chaos Crystal," She claimed. "I've never seen anything like that before." She admitted with caution. "This, this is my way to the other side," Hyper Reality Justin revealed. "Once the world is recreated, this will allow me to transfer myself to a new power even Drakkon couldn't escape." He stated as a rift began to open nearby. "But I can't have you and your team getting in my way." He told Justin and Rebecca, pointing the dagger towards them. The portal opened, and a group of rangers emerged. They were each individual rangers but seemed to be a single group.
One ranger, a blue-yellow hybrid ranger, noticed them and immediately took out a blaster, shooting the dagger out of his hand. Rebecca looked at the group and quickly noticed a ranger in a similar uniform to her with added modifications. The ranger ran over and came to her. "No time to explain," the ranger said with her same voice. "Zeke, help Tommy and Justin with these guys," the ranger ordered a yellow Mystic Force ranger who complied to join the blue-yellow ranger. "Jen, Ryan, you guys are with us." She told a black Operation Overdrive ranger and a red-black ranger unfamiliar to Rebecca or Justin. "What's going on?" She asked the ranger. "Like I said, I'll explain everything," the ranger assured her. "But first, we need to go after Drakkon." She explained. Rebecca was hesitant about leaving Justin but was assured that Tommy and Zeke would keep him safe. With that in mind, Rebecca and the others left to find Drakkon while the rest occupied Hyper Reality Justin.
