Orla Finneran is the eldest daughter of English born Irish Actress Siobhan Finneran and half sister of Actors Ryan and Adam Thomas and Love Island Contestant Scott Thomas, most famous for her work as Alyssa Foley and Tee Taylor in The End Of The F***ing World and The Dumping Ground respectively.
^EARLY LIFE
Finneran was the result of a one night stand, her parent's have never been in a relationship however they shared custody for the first twelve years of her life before Finneran decided she wanted to live permanently with her mother and visit her father due to her career and her schooling situation.
^ CAREER
Finneran began her acting career at the age of 7 working on the set of Shameless (UK) as Maura Maguire and stayed in the role until 2013 when the show ended.
At 9 she was cast alongside her older half-brother Adam to play his Character Donte's little sister Opaline. She stayed in that role until season 7 when the show moved locations to Scotland , Her character was originally set to move To Scotland however she was involved in the Crash where her characters boyfriend Denzil Kelly died. Her character is mentioned several times in the later seasons.
She was also casted as her mother's daughter Maddie in Benidorm the same year and stayed in the role until 2017 when the Garvey's stopped appearing on the show.
In 2008 Finneran began filming the first Nativity! movie and she kept her role in 2011 for the second film Nativity! Danger in the Manger however due to her growth due to puberty she could no longer pass as a primary school student and did not return for the third film and later denied working on the fourth instalment as a Teaching Assistant in 2017
In 2010 Finneran was one of the first Matilda's in the West End Production but eventually had to drop out due to her busy schedule
Finneran was offered a Role in BBC'S Bad Education but turned it down due to scheduling conflicts, however she is set to be featured in its Fourth season
In 2016 Finneran filmed her appearence in The End of The F***ing World as Alyssa and the series premiered in 2017 on Channel Four and Later on Netflix.
In 2017 Finneran was the focal point of Cigarette's after Sex's music video for Sunsetz, she did the same for Neon Moon and was planned to do another before the song was officially dropped from the album. She also filmed her appearence in the ITV series Vanity Fair alongside Olivia Cooke as Amelia Sedley.
In 2018 Finneran was set to play an undisclosed character in World On Fire but she had to drop out due to her pregnancy which at the time wasn't disclosed.
In 2018 Finneran performed alongside Paul Mescal as Mollser Gogan whilst he played Lieutenant Langon in The Plough and the Stars at The Lyric Theatre from March 15th to the 7th of April
In 2019 Finneran filmed her short appearence in Netflix's The Queens Gambit alongside Anya Taylor-Joy as Cleo.
In 2021 Finneran filmed a movie with Taron Egerton set in 1920's Wales about a Welsh Gangster and his Irish wife named Kiss With A Fist That was released in October of 2022
In Early 2022 Finneran stared alongside Jonah Hauer-King in James Bay's Music Video for One Life
^ PERSONAL LIFE
Finneran met Paul Mescal in 2018 when they were both in Lyric Theatre's production of The Plough and The Stars they quickly got into a relationship and had their daughter Ivy in March of 2019 of that year before breaking up in February of 2020 after which Mescal began dating Singer Phoebe Bridgers
