Kaedehara Kaede (Hangul: 카에데하라 카에데, Japanese: 楓原 楓（かえではら かえで) better known as Maple. Born on February 10, 1997, is a Japanese singer, dancer, and actress. She is the lead vocalist and main dancer of the South-Korean girl group Palette.
— EARLY LIFE AND CAREER BEGINNINGS
Kaedehara Kaede, now known as Maple, was born on February 10, 1997, in Shiogama, Miyagi, Japan. Her mother died when she was born and her father got into an accident when she was ten. Her aunt took care of her and her older brother before she got scouted by a CS scout in Japan and flew to Korea to train.
She studied in Ansan Byeolmang Middle School and attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul. She can speak Japanese, Korean, and English.
Maple began training at CheerStar Entertainment in 2013. On August 1, 2014, Maple made her official debut as a member of Palette.
She also made her official acting debut as one of the supporting characters in the mystery and thriller Korean drama series with Ji Chang-Wook and Park Bo-young 'Deadly Games' for which she got an award as the Newcomer Awardfor her first acting debut.
