The four come upon more stairs and walk up to it, leading them to an alleyway.
Shawn: Down, down, down, down. There's more of them.
The four come upon another street when they hear voices up ahead. The four of them hide behind a car as they see a couple of bandits in the distance removing a plank that was used as a bridge between two vehicles.
Shawn: Alright. I don't think they saw us.
Rachel: Whew. There's the bridge. We're a bit closer, I think.
Sarah: Let's keep moving.
The four make their way down the street when they came upon the flooded area.
Kyle: Shit. We can't make that jump.
Kyle points to the large gap between the bus and semi truck.
Shawn: Up there. If we can get up there, someone can move the plank.
The adults stare at Rachel.
Rachel: What?
Kyle: You're small and light.
Kyle and Shawn jump into the water. Looking at the deep water, Rachel begins to have a panic attack. The three adults immediately notice Rachel's small panicked breathes.
Shawn: The hell is wrong with you?
Rachel: I have....I have aquaphobia.
Kyle: What? What's that mean?
Rachel: It's a phobia. I have a fear of deep water.....I....I can't.
Kyle: Are you fucking kidding me?
Sarah: Okay...okay, honey. Just breathe. It's okay.
Rachel: Please...please don't make me go in there! I don't....
Rachel breathes out of control as Sarah comforts her.
Sarah: Okay. Okay, Rachel. It's okay, sweetie. There's nothing scary about the water. Okay?
Sarah and Rachel stand on top of a car.
Sarah: Will you two find something for her to stand on, please?
Kyle rolls his eyes.
Sarah: Kyle!
Kyle: Jesus...Fine. Just stay with her.
The Reaper military van drives by.
Kyle: What the fuck?
A woman screams then the gun of the top of the van fires, making the screaming stop.
Shawn: They're really looking for us, huh?
The military van squeals away.
Rachel: What the hell was that about?
Kyle and Shawn grab a large pallet and make their way towards Sarah and Rachel.
Sarah: Nothing good, I can say that much.
The two men bring the pallet up to Sarah and Rachel.
Sarah: Did you see that?
Kyle: Yeah, get on, Rachel. We're cutting through this hotel.
Rachel: But....
Sarah squeezes Rachel's hand, assuring the young girl.
Sarah: I'll be right here, okay? Nothing will happen to you.
Sarah jumps into the water and grabs the other end of the pallet. After a few deep breathes, Rachel jumps on top and the three guide her over to the bus and climbs on top of it, breathing rapidly as she climbs.
