In Harford County, Bel Air, Maryland, a hydro electrical power plant, Cassandra looks out at the dam as James, who is fixing up a hole in the building powering the generator, speaks up.
James: it'll work back eventually, Cassandra.
Cassandra walks up to James.
Cassandra: We've been at this place for two years, James and it's barely holding together. You're so optimistic that it'll get power.
James: Only to you, honey.
Cassandra smirks.
James: Do you think Kyle and the others are still alive? Shawn?
Cassandra: James....it's been two years.
Before Cassandra can speak, an African-American man, wearing a cross approaches the married couple.
Joseph: James....
James: What's up, Joseph?
Joseph: The electrical plant is running well...
James: Is there another issue?
Joseph: Yeah...the damn generator's keep on bugging out, but only by a few notches....we're gonna have to make another run soon.
James sighs.
James: Joseph, you're a former A.O.W technician which is why I like you.....where do you think we need to hit next?
Joseph: Probably a hardware store....
Suddenly, a siren goes off.
Joseph: Oh, lord.
James: Damn it...
Marcus speaks from the radio.
Marcus: James, do you copy?
James speaks into his radio.
James: What's up, Marcus?
Marcus: We're under attack.
James: Fuck.....
Cassandra, James and Joseph rush to the armory and grab their weapons, before the three run and face some bandits running towards them. Cassandra and Joseph shoot and kill a few bandits while James shoots and wounds the others. James aims his rifle at the bandit, before shaking his head. He then knocks him out with the butt of his rifle. Cassandra rushes up to James.
Cassandra: James....
James turns to his wife.
James: He's wounded......he'll bleed out from the pain.
Joseph: Hey, guys! We're not done! Come on!
The three then make their way through the building then out on a bridge, before they are joined by Marcus and Margaret, who are just finishing off a group of bandits.
James: Marcus!
Marcus turns to James.
Marcus: Dude! You three good?!
Cassandra: Yeah!
Margaret turns to Joseph.
Margaret: You still here, coat of colors?
Joseph laughs.
Joseph: You know, Margaret; someday I'm gonna get you to like me one day.
Margaret: That'll be the day I have five hail Mary's to confess about.
Maya's voice speaks over the radio.
Maya: Cassandra! Bandits, they're breaking into the boiler room! Vivian's with me!
