13. Regret

It's been 2 days since that incident. Pond and Jimmy tried talking to Nanon but he wouldn't open the door for anyone.
Meanwhile Ohm also didn't talk to anyone. He just took Phukao's classes and sat at the table he was handcuffed to.

Phukao was very sad seeing this situation. He didn't mind getting scolded, he had always been scolded by Nanon but this type of thing had never happened before. Nanon had never told Phukao to not call him papa or had gotten angry enough to even think of hitting him. He had to do something! It can't go on like this...

Nani and Meen also tried talking to Ohm since they were closer to him than others but he still kept quiet.

Gemini was given Ohm's phone and told to not return it to Ohm. It had been ringing continuously since the next morning of the incident. Pond, Jimmy, Earth, Mix, First, Khaotung, Gemini and Fourth felt useless. They couldn't help Ohm. His family must be soo worried about him! There was no way they could disobey Nanon's command and Ohm wasn't talking to them. He wasn't even eating anything. He barely drank juices when Nani and Meen forced him to.

As for Ohm, he was angry at Nanon. How could he do something like this to him?!
Does he hate the Summetikuls so much to lose all his senses and even raise his hand at Phukao?! Ohm knew the Summetikuls weren't good people, he himself hated them because of it and hated all mafia families because of them. He thought all the mafia families are like them! But then he had met P'Bright. Even then he thought that not all of them are good like P'Bright. And then he met Phukao and all others working for the Kirdpan family. At first he thought that they are the same, but as he got to know all of them, as he got to know Nanon, he realized that they were good people. Maybe the Summetikuls are the only family like that. Ohm had thought that even if they had huge differences, they both were big mafia families so they would be friends. But it seems like Nanon hates them through and through! But why? Why does he hate them so much for him to lose all sense and do things like that?

Ohm was busy in his thoughts and wasn't talking to anyone. He wanted to talk to his family though...They must be worried sick.
Also he hadn't gone to school for 2 days! Sea and Tu must be worried too...

Phukao came in the room. It was time for his classes. Meen moved to the other seat and Phukao sat in front of Ohm

Ohm: Soo are you in mood of science or maths, today?

Ohm tried to smile at Phukao but faltered.
Phukao was sad seeing Ohm like this. Ohm was such a cheerful person. He was in pain himself but still trying to make Phukao think that everything was fine and normal.

He wrote something on the last page of his notebook and showed it to Ohm.

"Can you write down your family's contact no.? I'll call them for you. I wanna help..."

Ohm smiled at that. Phukao was such a nice kid. Ohm wondered where he got it from...definitely not from Nanon.

Ohm wrote back:

"Aren't all of you not allowed to help me? Nanon will be furious again..."

Phukao read that and wrote

"I am not one of his gang members. The order was only for them, not for me. I have my own smart phone. I can call your family for you and tell them what you want. They must be worried and looking for you."

He looked at Ohm with pleading eyes.
Ohm smiled softly at him and wrote down Chimon's no. and what to tell him.
He also wrote a 'thank you'.

After class, Phukao went to his room, took out his phone and called the no. Ohm had given him. It rang for a few seconds until someone picked up the call.
