Nanon rested his head on the backrest of the chair remembering everything vividly. He had thought that he would have forgotten a little and gotten over a little but he was wrong. He remembered everything clearly like it happened yesterday. Maybe that's why he still reacted like that to the Summetikuls name...

Nanon: That day...

Nanon's pov

It was a normal day just like any other day. I was coming back home from school. I had turned 16 last month. It felt special somehow. Dad had told me that my gift would arrive today! I am really excited for it!

I reached home and Jimmy was waiting at the main gate for me looking more excited than me.

I got off and he asked me to hurry up and go in.

Nanon: Why are you more excited than me bro??

Jimmy: Just excited for your reaction!!

I laughed at that. We went inside together and when I got near the door, the maid asked me to go to the backyard.

When I went there...

Nanon: OH MY GOD!! REALLY?!

I screamed in happiness. I was really surprised to see the latest model of BMW that I had wanted. It was right in front of me!! I was soo happy that I was shaking Jimmy really hard.

Then mom, dad, Perth and grandpa came out from behind the car. I ran to my dad and hugged him tightly.

I had always wanted a car but I didn't even think dad would actually get it for me!! I had been soo sad that dad didn't gift me anything on my birthday and when dad said that the delivery was late, I thought they were just lying. But oh my God the wait had been so worth it!!

Nanon: Thank you soo much dad!! I love it!

I started checking out everything about the car.

Dad: Want to go for a ride?

Nanon: Yes!!

Dad got in the driver's seat and I got in the passenger seat.

We spent a long time driving around, my dad telling me about the time he got his first car and the time that Perth got his.
I was really close to my dad. As the youngest everyone in the house pampered me. Dad did the most. He had always understood me and let me do everything I wanted. I loved him very much. Of course I loved my mom, grandpa and Perth, but I had a special relationship with dad.

Dad: Well you still need to wait 2 more years to drive this car legally but you can drive it in our race course. Till then learn to drive properly ok?

Nanon: Yes dad!!

Dad: And you should thank uncle Phop. This car isn't available for importing yet, but he pulled some strings to get it imported.

Nanon: Really?! Wow... when will he come to meet us dad? He didn't even come on my birthday! I am...was mad at him.

Dad chuckled at that.

Dad: He will arrive tomorrow. He had some work to finish, that's why he couldn't come. Don't be mad at him.
