37. Boyfriend

Previously...

Ohm: I had fainted. Dew was taken to the hospital. When I woke up the next day, Dew's mom and my mom, dad and Chimon were there. Dew's mom wouldn't stop crying. She told me...that...Dew...that he...died...I don't even know how I spent the next few days...I would start crying anytime and my family used to be so worried about me. But I knew I couldn't take a drop from my last year of college so I had to control myself...And here we are...four years had passed  before I knew it. Only the kids used take away all my sadness and then I met you and Phukao.

Ohm smiled weakly at Nanon. He took a deep breath.

Ohm: Well that was what happened between me and Dew...

2 days later...

Nanon was still very busy with all his pushed back meetings and he had just finished an online meeting with an international client.

He leaned back on his chair and sighed.

Pond: You have been sighing a lot. Tired already? There's still 2 meetings of product discussion of our new product. Another meeting with today's client for confirming the details discussed today. A meeting with the Vihokratanas and a meeting with our brand presenters and the review of the new advertisement--

Nanon: Fine fine I get it!! There's still a lot to do! Can't you atleast be a bit supportive instead of reminding me about the huge mountain of tasks?! I haven't even seen Ohm today! I wanna meet him soo bad!

He said irritated.

Pond sighed.

Pond: You brought this upon yourself. I didn't ask you to push back your meetings to take care of Ohm. Jimmy or I could have done that.

Nanon: What makes you think I would let you do that huh? *smiles* Or perhaps you want me to send a pic of you taking care of Ohm to Phuwin? You miss him so bad that you want to make him jealous so that he comes back from abroad hmm?

Pond clicks his tongue in annoyance.

Pond: That won't work on him. But he sure would come back to beat me up for trying something like that. And you better finish your work if you wanna have no schedule tonight. Since you have 'plans'.

He threw a thick file at Nanon's face who caught it before it injured him.

Pond: Those are the details of the next year's project launch. Finish that.

Nanon let out a big sigh and shook his head when Jimmy knocked the door and entered.

Jimmy: Everything is ready Nanon.

Nanon's eyes lit up on hearing that.

Nanon: Really? Everything's done? Nothing left?

Jimmy sighed.

Jimmy: It's been ready for a whole damn week Nanon! Why are you getting so nervous?! You have been getting ready and then saying you'll do it the next day! For a whole damn week! You better do it today!

Nanon: Ok ok I'll not postpone it today.

He took a deep breath and started with the file he was handed.

A few hours later...

Nanon finally finished studying the file and came out of his room. He called Pond to tell him that he was finished and going for it.

Pond: Well you better hurry, it's almost dinner time. What if he eats dinner without you?

Nanon: Come on Pond! Don't scare me like that!
