22. Internal Strife

Nanon: What happened to him doctor? Is he alright?

Doctor: It was a panic attack. He is fine now, so no need to worry. But please tell him to refrain from going to places that trigger bad memories because it seems that that's what happened.

Authors pov

Nanon stayed at Ohm's bedside since he was unconscious. He was really confused and frustrated. He shouldn't be so worried about him. Yet he had rushed to Ohm's side and held him. He wanted to prove to Earth and Mix and everyone else that he didn't care, at all but now he himself was starting to doubt himself.

As he was busy in his thoughts and worrying about Ohm and Phukao, Earth and Gemini entered the room.

Nanon quickly stood up.

Nanon: Did you find out where they took Phukao?? Where is he?

Earth and Gemini looked at each other and shook their heads.

Gemini: We looked everywhere P' but we couldn't find Phukao anywhere. We even searched their personal residences but it's as if they disappeared.

Nanon: What?! How is that possible?! You are not searching properly! Search each and every corner but find him fast! God knows what those bastards will do to him!

Just then Mix and Fourth came running in.

Mix: We searched all of Bible's personal residences and hotels but Phukao isn't anywhere!

Fourth: We even contacted P'First and P'Khaotung and they have sent out their groups of people to look for Phukao.
We have even asked the Vihokratanas to help divert the media's attention so that this news doesn't spread.

Nanon clenched his jaw at that update and hit the table beside him in frustration.

Nanon: Where the fuck did they take Phukao?!

Just then they hear a little groan from Ohm as he tried to get up.

Gemini went near Ohm and helped him stand straight.

Ohm was feeling dizzy as he had just gotten up but he had no time for that. He needed to look for Phukao. He had heard the others talking about not being able to find Phukao anywhere and an old memory came back to him. Dew had took him to one of their houses once and had told him that that house wasn't exactly their house. Since the Summetikuls often trapped people by loan sharking, they had some of that seized property either not registered in their name or by some other fake identity. And out of all that there was only one house. It meant that Phukao had to be there. The house just on the border of the city.

Meanwhile, Nanon was just standing there looking at Ohm as he slowly gained his balance and pulled away from Gemini.
He was glad, very glad that Ohm was now fine. He wanted to go to him and give him a big hug but he refrained from doing so. He shouldn't be worrying about someone who betrayed him but his heart just wasn't ready to accept the truth!

Earth: Are you feeling alright, Ohm?

Ohm: Yes, I am much better now.

Mix: I think you should rest for a bit.

Ohm needed to get out of the house first but considering what had happened, he felt there was no way Nanon would let him go let alone listen to him if he were to tell him about the place Phukao should be in.
No he definitely couldn't tell Nanon. He wouldn't believe him.

Ohm tried just leaving the room without a word but before he could, Nanon grabbed his hand and stopped him from going.

Nanon: And where do you think you are going huh?!
