Wukong and Macaque were walking around Flower Fruit Mountain. If you were to ask why, they simply wanted to explore and look around.
Wukong seemed amazed by everything he saw on the mountain, from the flowing streams, to the high blue sky.
Macaque smiled softly as he saw how excited and amazed Wukong looked, a small amount of blush appearing on his cheeks.
"Macaque! Let's go sit near the waterfall!" Wukong said, quickly holding Macaques hand and taking him to the waterfall they had spotted earlier.
"Oh, okay!" Macaque responded, his face flushing even more as he felt Wukong's hand grab his own. Macaque would never admit it, but the golden-furred monkey might have successfully stole his heart...
Wukong then took Macaque to the waterfall, smiling brightly as he began to sit down, stretching and sighing with content.
"Isn't it great, Mac? That we have all of this for ourselves? Just us, on this mountain, for.. well, forever! It's like a dream come true..." Wukong said, patting the spit beside him, gesturing Macaque to take a seat.
"Yeah... it really is a dream come true, isn't it? It's just us.. forever.. until the end of time.." Macaque said, sitting next to Wukong before laying his head on Wukong's shoulder, purring gently as he did so.
Wukong blushed lightly, before returning the sign of affection. Wukong's tail began to swish around, before wrapping itself around Macaques tail, and holding it gently.
Macaques face flushed even more, before doing the same, using his tail to intertwine with Wukong's. "This is nice..." Macaque admitted, feeling comforted by Wukong's touch and affection.
"Yeah.. it is.." Wukong responded, before moving closer to Macaque, cuddling him while purring softly. Macaque hummed with content, before stroking Wukong's hair, looking down at Wukong with love-filled eyes.

About half an hour later...
"We should get going.. it's getting dark, no?" Macaque asked, slowly getting up from his spot, while additionally scooping Wukong into his arms, holding him like a Princess. "I-I-.. erm.. y-yeah! Let's go home!"
Wukong said, trying to hide the fact that he felt bashful to be carried in such a manner. Wukong began to purr lightly, hiding his face in Macaques chest as they began to walk up the mountain.
A few minutes later, the two made a stop, taking a break from all the walking. "Alright, break time." Macaque said, sitting down on the ground while looking over at Wukong. "Yup! Just for a few minutes though, okay? It's getting awfully dark!"
Wukong responded, while playing with his tail, and fidgeting with it. Macaque nodded, before facing away from Wukong, as he began to make something.
"Hm? Watcha making, Mac?" Wukong asked, trying to take a peek at whatever Macaque was making. "Something for you! Don't look until I'm done!" Macaque said, crouching down to hide the item he was making until he was completely finished with it.
"Jeez.. fine, fine.." Wukong said, backing away, waiting impatiently for Macaque to be done. "Are you almost done?" Wukong asked, seeming eager to know what Macaque made for him.
"Yes. Now, turn around." Macaque said, holding the time close as he waited patiently for Wukong to turn around. "Fine.." Wukong responded, his voice soft as his turned around, now excited to see what Macaque had made.
Macaque then placed something on Wukong's head and said, "Perfect!" Macaque said, chuckling gently. "Okay, you can go look at yourself now." Macaque said, pointing at a nearby ping as a way to show Wukong's reflection.
"Alright!" Wukong then eagerly rushed over to the pond, looking at his reflection with cheerful eyes. Wukong saw a flower crown on his head, the flowers being daisies. "Aww, Mac, I look great!" Wukong said, immediately sitting down to make a flower crown for Macaque.
"I'm going to make you one! So just wait!" Wukong said, as he worked on making a flower crown. "Hah, alright then, Wukong. I'll wait." Macaque said, sitting down and waiting patiently for Wukong to be done with making his flower crown.
After a few minutes, Wukong placed a, let's just say.., a not very well made flower crown, on Macaques head and smiled brightly. "There! Do you love it?" Wukong asked, as his tail swished around excitedly.
Macaque walked over to the pond, seeing the (poorly made) flower crown and smiling gently. "I love it, Wukong." Macaque said, not caring if the flower crown wasn't as properly made as his own. It's the thought that counts.
The two then held hands while walking up the mountain, towards their home.
