It was time for practice, and the captain was not going easy on us today.

Me and my friends Jungwon, Niki, and Sunoo are on the cheer team, and Jungwon was the captain.

He was usually pretty strict on us, but he only wants us to do our best.

Today was especially hard, because the football team was practicing today too.

Why did that make it harder? It's because my crush, the guy i've liked for over a year now, was the football captain.

The one and only, Lee Heeseung.

Him being there made me 10x more nervous and he made it hard to focus.

I need to focus hard today because i'm a flyer, and Jungwon is going to have us try out the flying for our routine.

It made me feel a little bit better that Niki was one of the people who were going to catch me. I trust him.

"Okay guys! Get into position!" Jungwon yells to us.

I get into my position with Niki and one of the other bases, Jiung next to me.

Sunoo was one of the other flyers, so of course his boyfriend Sunghoon, who was also on the football team, was watching us.

Soon the music cut on, and eventually the whole football team was taking their break and started to watch us.

Including Heeseung.

Jungwon started the counting , and we started out routine.

I left my foot up into Niki and Jiungs hands, then I move up and stand as they raise me up into the air.

I strike one of the poses I had to hold before being thrown and doing the flip.

I glance over, and see Heeseung looking straight up at me.

It made me lose balance, causing me to fall off into the bases arms.

"You good?" Niki asks me.

I look over again to Heeseung, and he's still looking at me. I could feel my face heating up, realizing I just messed up infront of him.

"Ah, Sorry!!" I say, apologizing to the team.

"It's fine Jake! Everyone makes mistakes!" Sunoo says, giving me a reassuring smile.

"Okay, let's try that again!" Jungwon says.

We get back into position, and Jungwon starts the counting again.

I get my foot up, then stand as they raise me into the air.

I get the first pose, trying not to look at Heeseung again so I wouldn't mess up.

I strike the second pose, which is just us raising our arms in the arm.

Our cheer uniforms were regular cheer shorts for the boys, but we all had to wear the crop tops, so when I raised my arms up, almost my whole torso was exposed.

That's why I didn't like practicing infront of the football team, because now my torso is exposed for Heeseung to see.

My face heated up once again, but thankfully it was time for the actual flying part.

I lower my arms, clapping as I bend my knees. Niki and Jiung then toss me up into the air, and I successfully do the backflip before landing in their arms.
