"I'm so excited! We haven't hung out in like... 3 weeks?"

"I know, it's been a while. It's gonna be fun tomorrow."

"I'll make sure to bring the cake mix and the soju. There's this peach flavor I found and it's so good, you have to try it."

"Okay, I trust your word."

"Should I- wait..."

"What? What's wrong?"

"Fuck, I think he's home."

"Oh."

"Oh shit, he's home."

"Sunoo... I don't get why you're even still with that dickhead."

"Sunoo! Who are you talking to?"

God, I hate his fucking voice.

"It's just Sunghoon babe, don't worry."

"Seriously? Why are you always talking to him? You're MY boyfriend."

"He's my best friend Woo, of course, I'm gonna talk to him a lot. It's not like your not always talking to that bitch Yujin 24/7"

"Hey! Don't talk about her like that, and watch how you speak to me. You know what happened last time."

"Right...sorry..."

"Now hang up the fucking phone, we're going somewhere."

"Okay... Sunghoon, I gotta go. I'll text you later, okay?"

Sunoo quickly hangs up, and I'm just left there, staring at my phone.

I've always hated Sunoo's boyfriend, Hanwoo.

He treats Sunoo like complete shit. He's unloyal, abusive in many ways, and just straight-up an asshole.

It's also so obvious he's fucking that girl too, so how does he not see it?

Despite how much he's put him through, Sunoo still stays.

I've told him so many times that he needs to leave him, and that he deserves so much better than that, but he never listens.

He swears Hanwoo treats him well, and that they just have their moments sometimes, but I'm not buying it one bit.

It just seriously pisses me off seeing Sunoo be treated like this when someone else could be treating him so much better.

I've liked Sunoo for years. Specifically since our freshman year of high school.

We had been best friends for way longer than that, but I had only come to terms with my feelings then.

I've always been there for him when he needed me.

I was there for him when he got bullied, I supported him when he came out in middle school, I supported him through every shitty relationship he's had, and I'm gonna be here for him when he finally realizes how much of an asshole Hanwoo is and leaves him.

He's always telling me that he wishes he could find someone like me, but I'm right here.

Why not choose me?

I can treat him so much better than anyone else can.

I'm just waiting for him to realize that.
