The moon.
The moon had always fascinated her.
She never quite imagined that moon would become her.
Or that she would become one with the moon.
But sometimes life, isn't always how you planned.
Cairo, Egypt.
The Sun was blazing hot. The heat was unbearable. The sweat was slipping down her head. She felt gross and hot and disgusting as she was absolutely covered in dirt and sand. Days. It had been days since she'd seen the sun, but she knew it was still there, she could feel the heat. Every single muscle in her body ached. Still she continued on, the scarf once used on her shoulders and head to guard her from the sun now tied around her waist incase is was needed to be used for a medical reason.
She was running low on water now, she had to get out somehow. She wasn't sure how but she was trying to find a way. She had seen others be shot and killed and had ran miles and drank most of her water and food. She had ran in circles around this stupid Egyptian Tomb for the past 3 days. She spent most of her life running, a criminal in every way possible. In and out of Jail in every state in the U.S since she was 19. She had ran and ran. She was offered large sums of money to do dirty work for multiple people in positions of high power. When she had taken this job she wasn't aware of the difficulties, it would hold, nor that she would be set up. She was supposed to be left for dead. She had realized that throughout the days of the empty handed mission. She was sent into the Egyptian tomb and told exactly what to bring her employers. She was told all her problems would be solved, all debts would be paid, and she would never have money troubles again. She quickly realized that was not the case. She was running away the heavy sound of footsteps behind her. She almost rounded a corner when she felt it. She halted mid run. Her hand to her chest as she felt the hot, sticky, red liquid. She whimpered and fell to the floor. She was crying but only because of the pain she struggled to find a wall but eventually leaned against it, fading in and out of consciousness. It was then she heard a voice. A loud and deep, mysterious voice. She saw the light and you heard the voice. She heard his conditions and he listed his price. She agreed to the best of her abilities but she was quickly fading. As soon as she agreed she heard a dark chuckle."Rise. For you have been chosen.
Chosen as My Star
The Star that falls close to the Moon."Her skin was burning. Every part of her skin felt like it was being boiled. Then, she felt fine, she could see again, and she felt normal. Normal body temperature and no more gunshot wound. She had now come to realize that she was wearing some sort of armor. She jumped to her feet feeling sore. She was finally able to make it out dodging every obstacle. Once she was out of danger she was released from the suit. And as soon as the blinding sun hit her, she fell to the ground and her vision was hazy until her head hit the ground and all of her surroundings went black.
