"Mm..." Lingyun hummed as it was another day, and he was cleaning up the restrooms in a local rest stop for tourists traversing runeterra.

"Hey there shrimp. You forgot something." A man mocked him as he threw a paper towel on the floor.

"Of course, I will get to it right away!" Lingyun replied kindly and the man was amused. After Lingyun picked it up, the man did the same thing.

"I said. You forgot something." The man spoke and Lingyun frowned.

"Sir, please stop. I still have to clean up some more."

"No way, you ionian shrimp. You're going to do as I say."

"Sir, please. I just want to work on my job."

"Too bad, bit-" The man started as he threw a punch and before Lingyun knew it, he had caught the man's attack and redirected him away.

"Father!" Xiu Hua went into the restroom as she heard a loud noise in the restroom.

"You freak. I'm going to make a complaint to the manager." The man spoke angrily as he ignored Xiu Hua and left.

"Dear, what are you doing here? You should be back home." Lingyun noted worriedly

"I'm sorry, father. I just wanted to go with you for a day. We... haven't been spending much time together lately..."

"I see... I'm sorry dear. I have to do this for us."

"Cleaning restrooms?"

"I have to make money somehow, dear." Lingyun kindly explained as his daughter frowned.

"Come on, no frowning. Can you be good for another few hours?" Lingyun asked his daughter kindly as she nodded.

"Good girl. Please find yourself a place to relax, okay dear? I still have more work to do." Lingyun explained and he went back to what he was doing.

"Father..." Xiu Hua thought to herself as she thought about her father's hardships.

From what she thought, she saw some of his clothes at their "Home" and deduced that they must've come from a rich family in the first place, but for some reason, they were out on the streets. She never really thought much of it, but what she does know is that she felt horrible for her father. Even though people pick on him a lot whenever they go anywhere, she said nothing out of respect for her father's wishes of not seeking violence.

Little did Lingyun know was that his daughter always followed him around in secret, and he would be too tired to discern her presence or be aware of her. As she watched in secret, she cried and sobbed for her father. No matter how many times he was mocked, or punched, he always kept a kind composure as he tried to make a living for her. Xiu Hua hated what people did to her father on a consistent basis and wanted to kick their buts, but she knew she couldn't do so.
