"Lingyun, where are you? You promised me... You promised that we would have more time together... We were going to strengthen our bond together..." A younger Sejuani told a younger Lingyun
"Sejuani, I love you. It's only been you. I swear..." Lingyun told her sadly
"Then why is your wife holding your hand?" Sejuani asked as she pointed beside him
"Sejuani, what do you me-" Lingyun started asking before he was horrified that he was in fact holding his wife's hand.
"Because he loves me, not you. You're nothing but a brute, a savage..." Lingyun's wife spoke coldly and Sejuani had a devastated face.
"Tell her, dear."
"That's right. You never were my type to begin with. I lied to you, Ice bitch." Lingyun spoke and he was horrified that his mouth spoke on its own.
"Lingyun..." Sejuani spoke and she was on the verge of tears.
"Sejuani, wait! That was not me! I did not say that!" Lingyun tried to speak but nothing came out of his mouth.
"I will fucking KILL YOU! YOU HEAR ME! YOU BETRAYED ME!" Sejuani yelled in a somewhat demonic voice as her eyes started bleeding, and she swung her flail at Lingyun's face.
"AH!!!!" Lingyun yelled as he was startled awake, and he woke up his daughter, along with Sejuani.
"Father, what's wrong?" Xiu Hua immediately tried to comfort her father with a hug.
"Lingyun?" Sejuani asked him worriedly as she hugged them both.
"It's nothing... I just... hoo..." Lingyun spoke to assure them, and he was still panting for a moment.
"Lingyun, will you be fine?" Sejuani asked as she gently grasped his face, and he did not know why, but he froze, and Sejuani immediately noticed this as she took her hand away.
"Father?" Xiu Hua asked as she was confused on what was happening in front of her.
"It's... okay... For now, Let's... get ready to head to the institution, hm?" Lingyun tried his best to smile and assure them as he hugged them back, and they didn't buy it, but they accepted it anyways.
Sejuani gave him a worried look as she looked him into his eyes behind his blindfold, and Lingyun knew where she was staring at. He knew that she would want to continue this later, but now was not the time due to Xiu Hua being there, and other responsibilities that must be done.
"Come on, Xiu Hua. I'll help you pack. Lingyun, freshen yourself up, okay?" Sejuani told Xiu Hua in a comforting tone before she worriedly told Lingyun, and they left her quarters.
