"Ugh.. where..." Sejuani wondered to herself as she stared up at the ceiling, and she knew that she was in the medical bay.
"MOTHER!" Xiu Hua cheered as she hugged her tightly
"Snowflake... I'm going to die..." Sejuani replied as she hugged her back gently
"Oh, I'm sorry..." Xiu Hua apologized as she blushed and walked away, causing Sejuani to smile.
"Sejuani, you're up..." Lingyun told her in a relaxed tone as he smiled at her behind his blindfold, next to the bed.
"Lingyun!" Sejuani was happy as she proceeded to hug him down towards her immediately, and he was shocked.
"Snow Queen..." Lingyun told her in a surprised tone, but he soon relaxed and hugged her back.
"It's been so long since you've called me that..." Sejuani noted in a warm tone and Lingyun smiled.
"Excuse me, but how are you doing, Sejuani?" Shen asked after clearing his throat, and the couple immediately separated themselves from each other.
"I am fine, Shen. How long was I out?"
"You were out for a month." Shen noted and Sejuani was shocked.
"A month?!" Sejuani asked and Shen nonchalantly nodded.
"How about Lingyun?"
"2 weeks, give or take." Lingyun replied and Sejuani was shocked.
"Why did it take me longer to recover... you were hurt the worst..." Sejuani asked him as he smiled.
"I tend to heal somewhat... faster due to my... genetics..." Lingyun noted and Sejuani sighed.
"I am sorry, but can I spend a moment or two with you, Sejuani? I still need to run a few more tests to make sure that you are fine." Shen asked and Sejuani sighed. Lingyun smiled as he went to his daughter.
"We'll be waiting, Snow Queen." Lingyun told her in a content tone and she smiled as she nodded.
"How long is this going to take..." Sejuani asked somewhat impatiently
"Probably around 10 minutes. You are mostly recovered after all, but I'm just doing my job..." Shen noted and Sejuani sighed as she went along with the procedure.
After the procedures and tests were all done, Sejuani was free to go and after she got up, she looked around for Lingyun, and her adoptive daughter. Sure enough, she found them at the dining hall, eating with the other Freljordian champions. Everyone there was happy as they cheered for her, and were grateful that she was still alive.
