I awake, still in the position that i drifted off in. My hands exploring the hairy chest that my head lay upon. Up and down, I slowly caress the body that has provided foundation for my head for these many years.

"Tyler?", I whisper softly in his ear. "Are you awake?". I giggle to myself. I never quite understood why people ask that question, clearly the person would respond if they were actually awake. I slowly move my hand over to the right side of his chest, tickling him under his arm ferociously. He springs up out of bed, laughing in shock at the sudden sensation which had occurred.

"Wylie! You scared the crap out of me" Tyler says in a groggy voice, after being awoken from his slumber.

"Sorry, i was just bored lying here on my own watching you sleep" I replied, with a grin on my face.

"So, whats the plan for today?" Tyler asks suggestively.

"Well, the weather is awesome so i think we should go down to the beach. We are on our honeymoon, after all." I reply.

After the amazing wedding we had and the special night we spent together, we had to go away together for our honeymoon. We both always loved nature and so we never really needed somewhere expensive. We were happy as long as we were together in this one place. Tyler had told me he wanted to do something really special today but he kept it a secret and wouldn't tell me what it was. I never really liked surprises, the feeling of losing control over an event didn't really appeal to me. I liked Tyler's surprises though. he always knew what to do to make me happy.

I slide out a bed and slip on the pair of shorts and t shirt that had been neatly placed at the side of my bed, probably by Tyler. I walk across the bedroom, opening the curtains to allow the first rays of sunshine to peer through the windows. Outside the window, no more than a few meters away, lies the beach. The sand as white as snow and the ocean as clear as the sky on a crisp summers day.

"Tyler!", I shout, beckoning him over to the window. "Look at this amazing view! We have to go down there now" I suggest excitedly.

"Lucky for you Wylie, that's where your surprise is" He says, grinning from ear to ear.

I can no longer hold in my excitement. Bouncing like a rabbit on one foot, I put my sandals on and walk outside. The sand feels like grains of salt beneath my feet, annoyingly finding each crack between my toes. Tyler grabs me by the hand and leads me to a secluded part of the beach. A speaker had been installed there but i had no idea what for. As we walk over, he takes a cord out of his pocket, plugs it into the speaker and then plugs the opposite end into his iPhone.

"I never told you that i liked to dance when I was younger, did i?" Tyler asks.

"No I don't think you did"replying, curious at what he was trying to imply.

"Take my hand and follow my lead" He says authoritatively.

I place my hand against his, locking them firmly in place. He takes two steps to the right and I follow. The motions feel so different, so unnatural. I've never danced like this before. As we move, swiftly like the birds drifting through the skies, the sand seems to move with us. Firmly, he takes me by the waist, guiding me and holding me upright as I almost trip over his foot. As we move around, the world seems to move with us, our bodies connected and in tune with each other. He grabs my waist firmly, lifting me up and swings me round above his shoulders. The sky spinning above me as he places me on the ground and takes me into his arms once more. As my feet hit the floor, i buckle, swinging to the ground with an almighty thump and taking Tyler with me. As I look up, sand in my eyes and hair, I see Tyler laughing hysterically.
