"Shhh! I need pin-drop silence right now!" I shouted while hitting the blackboard with the duster in my hand trying to get the students' attention. Shortly, after they went silent, I distributed the circular of the parent-teacher meeting among the students of grade two.

"Attention everyone, tomorrow is your Parent Teacher Meeting. Make sure to alert your parents about it as soon as you reach home, "I remind them.

I looked at my wristwatch to see the time."Okay, it's home time now, pack your bags," I yelled, my voice echoing.

The students hurried to pack their bags and leave as if set loose from prison.

I noticed that every student had left the class except one."Lily, do you plan to sleep here?"I asked sarcastically.

"Miss Summer, my parents can't come to the PTM," she informed me worriedly. I raised my eyebrows and questioned her in return, "May I ask why."

"They will be busy," she replied while looking down and playing with her hands. "Well, you can inform them first and if they are busy then you can also send your grandparents, uncle,au-," I said until she interrupted me.

"My uncle can come," she spoke a little too loudly this time while smiling brightly with her shining eyes reflecting her dimples."Sure, let's go now?" I said while smiling seeing how she had cheered up.

I held her hands as we went outside. She entered the school bus and I waved her goodbye. She waved me back from the window and kept waving until the bus was completely out of my sight. I smiled at how adorable she is.

I went to the bus station nearby, entered the bus, and soon reached my apartment. As soon as I opened the door of my apartment, I was welcomed by Loki, my pet dog, the cutest puppy to ever exist in my regard.

I kissed his soft wiggly head, then took a quick shower and soon dozed off with Loki in my arms.
I explored Netflix trying to find a good show with Loki in my arms as we cuddle together.
