"This place is really far away and hardly any taxi or Uber arrives here during nighttime," I said genuinely worried about her. She rolled her eyes and then spoke, "I can take care of myself, thank you very much."

"The crime rate here is high too, this place is not safe at all. Are you sure that you'll be fine?" I raised my eyebrow. She looked at me hesitantly and then at the car. "My offer still remains," I said while smiling and pointed towards the door of the car.

She came forward and reluctantly sit in the car. I sit in the driving seat and start driving the car after she explained her address. "Why did you said I am your girlfriend," she asked.

"I-I was under a lot of pressure. I totally said it without thinking. I apologize. Emma and Ava kept inquiring me so I just took your name. I am genuinely sorry." I explained.

"Did solely my name strike in your mind." she gave me a taunting while looking towards me.

"Yeah." I nervously chuckled. "Why do I feel that you don't quite like me?

"Maybe because I don't ," she said. "Is it because of the PTM meeting? I am sorry for that day. I was late for a really important meeting."

"I understand." She nods her head. "How do you know Ava and Emma?" she asked. "They were my university friends and I also dated Ava," I say.

"Oh, Is that why you lied?" she asked to which I responded, "Yeah, Emma wanted to matchmake us."
"Ava is pretty, why do you not want to date her?" she asked.

"Yeah, she is pretty, but she is a very possessive person. Trust me,Dating her was not less than a nightmare. Wait! If Ava is Emma's cousin then isn't she your cousin too?" I asked obviously uncomfortable with this fact since I was just currently criticizing her cousin in front of her.

"She is not my cousin," she spoke. "

What? Oh." I refrain from inquiring her any further not wanting to ask her about her family matters and the rest of the ride was silent.
