Catherine's POV

The loud bang on my room door woke me from my precious sleep.

Who the hell is that?

I tried to ignore the sound, but it went on continuously. Finally, I pushed away my covers which landed on the floor. I sat up with my back leaning against the headboard.

"Who the fuck are you?" I yelled in frustration.

"It's Anthonio." I heard the familiar Italian voice behind the door. I picked up my phone by the bed stand to check the time and it was 5:00 am.

Why the fuck will Anthonio come to me by this time?

I struggled with my lazy ass to get off the bed and walked towards the door.

I opened the door. "This better be good, Anthonio," I said to him as soon as I was faced to him.

He leaned against the door and smiled.

"You said you wanted to join the Mafia."

"So?" I questioned.

"You can't do that by sleeping all day. Get ready in 15 mins, I will be waiting for you downstairs."

"Yippee." I waved my hands at him. "I am excited," I said sarcastically. He laughs.

"You brought this on yourself, not me." He winked at me and added, "Wear something comfy." He blew kisses at me.

As soon as he was out of sight, I slammed the door shut and leaned against it for about 10 seconds before walking into my closet. Since he said to wear something comfy, I settled for my white biker shorts and a pink cropped hoodie. After bathing, I wore the outfits I picked out, wore my blue sneakers, and threw on my pink face cap. Finally, I picked up my phone from the dresser before leaving my room.

"Where are we going?" I asked immediately I walked into the living room. Anthonio who was focused on his phone, looked at me and smiled.
Then, he stood up from the couch and
tossed the car keys at me, which I caught.

"You are driving." He pointed out and headed straight to the door.

"You haven't told me where we are heading to by this time of the day." I followed suit with frustration written all over my face.

He smiled as he held the door for me to pass through. "Be patient Cat, it's a surprise." He said before closing the door behind him.

"I hate surprises, so you better spill." I glared at him. He ignored my comments and entered the car through the passenger seat.

I took my place in the driver's seat and watched as he input in the location on the GPS.

"You can drive now Mrs." He said to me.

"Urgh, I hate you right now." I started the car, and I drove out of the compound. I swerved the car to the other side of the road and packed it to put on my seat belt; then, I turned to him. "Where is Salvatore?"

"He left early, he has some unfinished business to attend to."

"Ohh." I muttered with a nod.
Deep down, I was curious to know his unfinished business, but I decided to shrug the thought off before hitting the road.

Throughout the ride, Anthonio was on the phone speaking Italian to probably one of the guys. From the conversation, I could tell he was furious. Things ain't going as planned.

Who could be the traitor?

We arrived at a building, somewhat like a warehouse. I scanned through the environment as I looked for a spot to park. Anthonio ended his call and turned to me.
