Chapter 13: I Hate Today

A/N- just wanted to prepare people, this chapter is a mess, I would have made a bunch of mini-chapters but decided to put them all in one. after this a bunch of shit will go down so stay tuned.

Olivia POV

We didn't go back to talking about our little fight, there were a few things that annoyed me at dinner but I decided to keep the peace and not bring them up. Wrong decision. So the night went on and we went back to Will's place as usual and I stayed over.

Now it's about a week later, this morning I woke up in a shitty mood. It's the day before my birthday and it's always a tough time of year. Will is trying his best to be understanding and has been trying to cheer me up, not realising the reasons why I'm in a weird mood, to begin with.

At first, he thought it might just be a lack of caffeine, but that didn't help. To be fair I haven't explained the full extent of it to him, I just said that I don't like my birthday because it reminds me of my mum not being around.

Anyway, he was being extra nice today because of this, bringing me coffee in bed and he went out and got me some pastries for breakfast.

It's about 11 am and I was just getting ready for work, doing my hair and makeup in the bathroom. I feel arms wrap around my waist pulling me closer to him, as Will leans down and kisses my cheek, "you look nice today." he smiles tucking my hair behind my ear.

"Only nice?" I joke as I put my mascara on. "Can you grab me my scrunchy?" I say pointing to the bedroom where I think I left it.

"yeah, course babe..." he says leaving and then coming back a few seconds later, passing a red scrunchy across to me.

I look at the scrunchy confused for a second, "That isn't mine."

"What?"

"Who is this?"

"Why would it matter? doesn't it do the same job?"

"That's not the point! Who else has been here that would leave a scrunchy? I thought we weren't seeing other people." I say, trying to stay calm.

He shrugs as if it's no big deal, "I don't know.... probably just my cousins or something."

I just roll my eyes and get ready to leave, "I have to go to work but I'm talking to you about this after work..."

"You're just making problems out of nothing, stop being paranoid." I hear him say as I slam the door on my way out.

After that, I just dropped the subject and tried to forget about it.

I was so glad when I got to work mainly because I needed to Rant to someone about everything with Will. Claire was still not back in, she had her last exam tomorrow so I didn't want to bother her with my issues. Because of this I only had Brooke to complain to, not that she helped much, when I told her about what happened she just said, "Sounds to me that he's a jerk who is insecure and you should dump him..." in a jokey tone.

"You're just saying that because you want me to be with Luke..." I chuckle, rolling my eyes at her. It was only us working today so we were just chatting in between customers. It was a slow day because it was raining and it seemed like nobody wanted to leave their homes to get coffee in the rain.

Brooke laughs as she hands someone a coffee, "I mean you're not wrong but also Will is a dick." She smirks, looking back over at me.

"I hate it when you're right..." I mumble quietly hoping she doesn't hear me.

"Anyway, how's the whole trip planning going with Luke?" she says changing the subject.

I scrunch my eyebrows not knowing why she is bringing this up, "Good I guess... think we got everything organised"
