"Steve. How do you make a girl not mad at you anymore?" Eli asked his brother that early morning.

The ex king of Hawkins High began to laugh, eating his bowl of cereal. "Does my little brother have a crush on a girl?"

Eli groaned. "Just tell me. Please."

Steve raised his brows. "Okay. But first tell me why."

"There's a girl, she's very pretty and became my friend but she's not really in the party if you know what I mean." Eli gave him a look. "And she's mad that we're hiding it from her and her sister. So... what should I do?"

Steve sighed, leaning forward. "One, buy flowers. Two, apologize. Three, just tell her the truth or part of the truth. If you think she's trustworthy then you shouldn't care what the guys will do. Follow your gut, E."

So the brothers were very close, and they would do anything for each other.

It was always them against their parents and the world.

Eli nodded, thinking of a plan. "Thanks, Steve."

So the two boys went to the arcade, waiting for the sisters to get there. Lucas placed a out of order sign on the Dig Dug game, before they went in the back to wait.

"Are you sure they'll be here?" Lucas questioned.

Eli nodded, tightly gripping the single rose in his hand, flinching as a thorn pricked him. "They will be."

Outside Billy Hargrove jolted to a stop in front of the arcade. Max hurrying out of the car.

"If you're not out in a hour-"
