~Cat Noir's Pov~

My eyes widened in shock. The dark hair, the bluebell eyes, the face.. The features that i never thought i was going to see again. It is Marinette! She is Paon! The girl that i haven't seen in months. Her body was way more skinnier than before. I couldn't believe my eyes, what did Hawkmoth do to her?

Tears welled up in my eyes. Marinette struggeled to talk while tears poured down my cheeks. I wished that all her pain would go away, but wishing doesn't make anything come true. Marinette coughed before she whispered my name in pain. I just saw it in her eyes that she wanted to say so much more. With shaking hands, i cupped her cheek, in hope to calm her. "Marinette.." i struggeled to say. My heart was in pieces by seeing her condition. 

"Please.. Stay with me." i said. Deep inside i knew that there was no way out. The bullet injured her to be fatal. Nothing can help her anymore. Marinette opened her mouth. "Chat, i-i can't-" She couldn't even finish her sentence because of her injury. I can't do this, seeing her in so much pain. My arms brought her closer to me. "Don't say anything, you have already have been fighting enough." i whispered as tears couldn't stop flowing. "Just rest for a bit, you will be okay.." i continued. 

My eyes met her beautiful blue eyes. I tried to give her a smile before she closes her eyes, but i couldn't. Her head eventually rested against my chest as her body became numb. I hugged her body for the last time while she took her last breath. I kept myself silent untill she went away, and then i can finally let it all out.

It started to pour from the sky as i cried over her body. I can't believe it. She is dead and it is all because of Hawkmoth. How could he? Why her? Why Marinette? I screamed in tears as if it would help. But it isn't like miracles would happen.

~Nobodies Pov~

A red figure walked from behind Cat Noir. It was Scarabella. She did not expect seeing her best friend dead in Cat Noir's arms. In horror, she gasped, covering her mouth. Cat Noir completely ignored her as he kept sobbing. Just when he got her back, he had already lost her. Scarabella kneeled down besides Marinette, who was peacefully laying against Cat Noir's chest. Tears threatened to spill when Scarabella saw her body. 

The two superheroes stayed with Marinette untill Scarabella suddenly thought about something. If Hawkmoth knew that Marinette was dead, he must be here somewhere close. He can't just leave the Miraculous behind for just anyone to take. Scarabella leaped away to find Hawkmoth, maybe she can even save her with the Miraculous Ladybugs.

Cat Noir was now alone, still holding on to Marinettes body. Many thoughts went through his mind about her. How she used to help everyone, and how she was always kind to me. Her clumsy action always made him laugh. But now it is gone. Forever.

Raindrops poured down from the sky as Cat Noir slowly laid down her bloody body. He stood up and took his last look at Marinette, before he turned away to the end of the alleyway. With eyes full of hatred he went to find Hawkmoth. The person who killed his dearest friend. And Cat Noir is going to make sure that he doesn't get away. 

After some time of searching, he found Hawkmoth hiding in a alley. Furious, he didn't hesitate to pounce on Hawkmoth while he is not looking. Before he know it Cat Noir tackeled him to the ground. "How could you." Cat Noir shouted. Hawkmoth smirked by seeing Cat Noir's weakness against Marinette. "I had to, it was only a matter of time before she betrayed me." he said. Cat Noir slammed him into a wall with all his strenght. "That you have even the audacity to say that over her." said Cat Noir. Without giving Hawkmoth a chance to move away, he clawed his shoulder with his claws, leaving behind a gruesome wound. 

Cat Noir's fury blinded him with rage. He couldn't stop himself to hurt Hawkmoth. Eventually, he got to the point that he pinned Hawkmoth to the ground. His hand rose up in the air and shouted. "Catacl-" someone interrupted him."STOP!!" His head abrubtly turned around to see who intervined. It was Scarabella. What is she doing? he thought. His heavy breaths echoed through the alleyway. "Cat Noir, stop this right now! You are about to kill someone! Even tho he is Hawkmoth, he still doesn't deserve it." she said. 

"He killed Marinette, what am i supposed to do?" he hissed. Cat Noir tried to stay firm, but his sadness and anger mixed with exhaustion made him weaker. Scarabella went silent for a minute. Hawkmoth saw this as a chance to escape from the heroes and find the Peacock Miraculous. He threw Cat Noir against Scarabella for both of them crash into a wall. 

Meanwhile, someone was approuching Marinette's body. While the heroes fight, someone else kneeled down besides her. With a shaky breath, she got a hold of Marinette's Miraculous. It was Nathalie. Her hands held the Miraculous as thoughts went through her mind. She knew that this was Hawkmoth's doing. Slowly but surely, she put on the Miraculous and transformed into Mayura. When she walked away, she took her last look at Marinette before she said. "I will avenge you, Marinette."
