"Chris I really don't mind staying at a hotel."

"Nope. I'm not having it. The grandmother to my baby will not be staying at a hotel. My mom already came over to prepare the guest room for you so let me take both your bags up to your rooms and then we can head out."

Chris and Aurora were determined to have their families get along. With Christmas coming up they decided to all spend it together. With it only being Aurora and her mom, Chris invited them to spend the holidays in Boston. He of course insisted they stay in his home instead of a hotel. It was a few days before Christmas and Chris' family had invited them over to his mom's house for lunch.

"Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for having us over for the holidays," Aurora greeted as she hugged Chris' mom.

"It's a pleasure," she smiled. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling good. Excited. Tired."

"Sounds about right," Lisa chuckled. "Hi Joan. It's good to see you again."

"You too," Joan smiled. "Now, what can I help with?" Joan followed Lisa to the kitchen while Chris and Aurora went to the living room.

"Scott!" Aurora shouted.

"Rory!" Scott squealed as he jumped out of his seat to hug her.

"Rory? I thought only your close friends called you that?" Chris chuckled.

"Well for your information, Scott and I text almost everyday," Aurora smirked. "We're BFFs now."

"Oh my god. I can't believe the Aurora Smith just called me her BFF!"

"You've truly made his day," Chris laughed. Chris and Scott finally stepped closer and greeted each other. Chris turned to help Aurora sit on the lounge chair before going to sit next to Scott on the couch. "So Scott how've you been?"

"I've been pretty great. I actually have some news to share with you. I got a reoccurring role on Grace and Frankie and filming is in LA so I'm moving there!"

"Scott that's amazing!" Chris congratulated Scott by giving him a hug.

"That's awesome! That means that we'll get to see you all the time!" Aurora squealed.

"And I'll get to see Jasmine all the time! I'm determined to be her favorite adult."

"I love you Scott but that's not happening," Aurora teased.

"Just don't be surprised if I'm at your house everyday," he chuckled.

"Food is required to enter my home."

Chris couldn't help but chuckle at their banter. He was a little thrown off at first when they said they talk almost daily. But it also warmed his heart that his brother and the mother of his child were getting along so well. And Scott moving to Los Angeles gave him a sense of peace. He knew Scott already loved Jasmine and Aurora and knew he would be there to help out when he had to be out of town for work.

They spent the rest of the afternoon at Chris' mom's house. Aurora was pretty tired from the flight so they didn't want to be out too long so that she could rest.

When they weren't with Chris' family, their time in Boston was spent getting things for Jasmine's room in Chris' house. They weren't going to be going back to Boston until October when Chris would start filming a movie and they would be staying until after New Years. It was still about ten months away but they wanted the room to have at least furniture for when they came back so they wouldn't have to worry too much about that when the time came.
