The next month was going to be insanely busy for them. The Grammys were at the end of January and Aurora was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album. Then at the beginning of February, Aurora's new album, Thank U, Next, was releasing. The Oscars were at the end of February and Chris was asked to present an award.

Unfortunately, everyone who lived near Chris and Aurora wasn't going to be in town the night of The Grammys so there was no one to watch Jasmine while they went to the show. Chris was going to have to stay home so Aurora was going have to go to the show alone.

"Good luck tonight baby," Chris said as he kissed Aurora at the door.

"I really wish you could go with me," she said sadly.

"I know and I wish I could be there with you too. But Jas and I are gonna be right here watching when you win. And then when you get home, we can celebrate," he smirked.

"Can we celebrate even if I don't win?" she grinned.

"You know we will but I have absolute faith that you're gonna win. Not to speak poorly about the other nominees but they have nothing on you baby."

"Thank you sweetheart," she leaned in to kiss him once more, also giving Jasmine a quick kiss on the cheek. "I should get going. I love you both so much."

"Bye mama!"

Aurora had purposefully wore a dress that could hide her belly so that no one would ask questions. They had originally planned to just let the news get out while on the red carpet but that was when they thought Chris would be joining her. She didn't want to be asked about it without him there so they decided they'd wait until The Oscars since Aurora was going to be going with him.

When she got the show, she spent a little bit of time on the red carpet. She did some interviews, got her picture taken, and met a few fans. Once she was inside the theatre all she could really do was think about her family back home. She was definitely honored to be nominated but she really wished she had Chris with her. Before she knew it her category was announced to be coming after the commercial break.

"And the winner is Aurora!"

Aurora couldn't believe it. She just won her first Grammy. While she wished her family was with her, she couldn't help but be so proud of herself and just take in her moment. She walked to the stage as the crowd continued to cheer for her.

"Wow. This is uh- This is unreal. I have loved singing since I could remember but never once did I think I'd be holding one of these. I definitely didn't write this with the thought or goal of getting one of these but it's an absolute honor and I am so, so grateful for it. I want to thank my mom for pushing me to follow my dreams and for supporting me and doing whatever was needed in order for me to pursue them. I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for her. I'd also like to thank my beautiful little girl who is at home watching right now with my wonderful boyfriend. I love you both so much. And lastly I'd like to thank my amazing, amazing fans. Without you I'd be nothing. I love you all. Thank you."

As soon as the show was over, Aurora went home. She normally would've spent her night at an after party but she just wanted to get home to her family. As soon as she walked in, Chris and Jasmine were waiting for her by the door. Chris wasted no time in bringing her into a deep kiss.
