Chapter 15 "The sleepover"

*LUNCH THE NEXT DAY*
You had texted the group during your walk home yesterday telling them that Sasuke and Naruto would be joining them for lunch today, they all agreed giving congratulations and good jobs through text that you managed to talk to him, AND get him and the blonde to eat with them. The five of you take your usual seats at the end of the table (seating arrangements four seats on each side of the table, going from right to left on your side it's Shikamaru on the end with Hinata to his left and yourself to Hinata's left, the three of you on one side. On the other side of the table Kiba sits across from Shika and Neji across from Hinata. Leaving two empty seats to Neji's right and one to your left.) Naruto and Sasuke walk over and they greet the five of you who welcome them to your table, Sasuke sits in the empty spot across from you next to Neji and Naruto takes the one to your left. "Hey Kiba! Long time no see!" Naruto says as he sits down, Kiba puts on his enormous grin to match Naruto's that had just appered and says "I know right!" You blush when you look up to see Sasuke sitting there and smile at him, trying to focus on your food and talking to Hinata. "Hey Hinata?" You ask her, "Y-yes?" She asks a bit shy because of the new people joining them. "Do you want to sleepover this weekend?" You question, (today is Tuesday btw) "Uh-uhm I guess so. It's my first sleepover though so..." She trails off. You stare. You stare at Hinata. Completely forgetting about your crush sitting four feet in front of you. You stare at Neji. "Your first sleepover?!" You squeak and Kiba laughs at your voice crack "Neji! Is this true?!" He sighs "it is." You stare at Hinata again "How did you not have a single sleepover and still make it to junior highschool?!" She seems to be panicking now by your freak out "uh well you see um whenever I got invited to sleepovers in elementary school, I was always to shy to answer, so eventually the other kids just stopped asking, and that's how it stayed in middle school..." You stay silent for a moment then look up to everyone else at the table "Has anybody else never done a sleepover before?" Naruto spoke up "Well me and Sasuke have done a few but we've never had sleepovers with anybody except each other." Sasuke gives a small nod not really taking part in the conversation. "I've never done a sleepover before either" says Shikamaru who at some point woke up from his daily lunch nap. "Me either." Neji puts in. Kiba just shakes his head. You think this over for a minute then make a decision. "Never mind this weekend Hinata." You say "Next week we've got that break coming up, after Wednesday we get the rest of the week off, sooo, I'm inviting all of you," you swivel your head around to everyone at the table "To a slumber party next Thursday night! No, a double sleepover, Thursday AND Friday night! This will be a weekend to remember!" Sasuke chuckles a bit at the scene across from him and Naruto, Kiba, and Shikamaru are just full out laughing. "Ooh hey!" Kiba says as the laughter dies down "Can I bring Akamaru with me?" You think about it, your dad should be ok with a dog for a couple of nights, plus you have yet to meet Akamaru and it would be interesting. "Ok sure!" You say and Kiba fist pumps the air. Hinata smiles and looks down at her food happy for her first sleepover to be with her dear friends.
