Chapter 20 "I like you too"

*THURSDAY NIGHT, UPSTAIRS HALLWAY, 5:35 PM*
"I like you. I like you a lot." He says looking up into your eyes and you feel like its a scene right out of a shoujo manga, you blush scarlet and tell yourself 'ok, breath (your name) breath, maybe this is just another daydream. Ya that must be it! Another day dream! I'm still standing in the kitchen right now! And Sasuke is leaning against the island behind me!... But no... This seems... So real.'
*downstairs in the living room*
"Hey guys," Shikamaru says and they all look up at him "(your name) and Sasuke went upstairs about ten minutes ago, should we see what's taking them?" "Alright" Kiba says and they all nod and stand. Neji is at the front of the group as they make their way to the stairs and when he reaches the first step he suddenly stops and turns back to the others putting his finger to his lips and waving at them to come over. They all gather together at the bottom of the stairs and look up to see you and Sasuke standing in the hallway with his hands on your shoulders. But they don't don't notice their friends standing below them.
*back upstairs*
Sasuke gets a sort of scared expression from your silence and shakes your shoulders lightly "Hey (your name)? (Your name)?!" He starts worrying and grabs onto his jet black hair. "Oh crap I've freaked her out haven't I?" He asks himself out loud, you snap out of it then and lunge forward doing the boldest thing you've ever done in your life, you kiss him.

(Writers notes) I know it's short ok, sorry. But hey, atleast I got the romance going like I promised! I'm so sorry it took so long! This really doesn't even seem like an xReader anymore, more like just a story! Sorry. 😅😓
