Chapter 21 "Good job!"

*THURSDAY NIGHT, THE UPSTAIRS HALLWAYS, 5:40 PM*
You kiss him. He was taller than you so you wrapped your arms around his neck and stood on your tippy toes. It was your first kiss and you weren't entirely sure what to do but you had read shoujo manga before so you sort of knew how it worked. Sasuke looks surprised at first, but after a minute he slowly brings his arms up to lock around your lower back and he kisses you back. You feel so many emotions going through you at once, fear, excitement, embarrassment, happiness. You pull away and tell him "I like you too, I have liked you a lot for a while. Since the sixth grade actually." You say blushing and smiling up at him, he smiles back and kisses your forehead saying "I'm glad." Then you hear something, applauding and whistling and laughing! You both snap your heads to the stair case on your right and see all five of your other friends and a large panting Akamaru at the bottom of the staircase. You both turn pale and quickly back away from each other.

*THURSDAY NIGHT, 10 MINS LATER, KITCHEN TABLE*
You both turn pale and quickly back away from each other. You muster a quick "Oh, I think I hear the timer going off!" As an excuse and charge down the stairs now blushing furiously, you push past your friends and run to the kitchen just as the real timer rings, and you take the spaghetti off the stove. You can hear your friends laughing and talking in the hallway and you grab dishes out of your cupboards to serve dinner.

*BACK IN THE HALL*
Sasuke just stared down the staircase after you in amusement and shock, then followed you down, when he reached the bottom he was greeted with pats on the back and congratulations from his little group of friends and neji just sort of nodded at him with a small smile. They slowly made they're (probably used the wrong "they're" but mou) way back to the kitchen where you were.
*THE KITCHEN, 5 MINS LATER*
Everybody had pulled up various chairs found around the house and you all clustered around the small (shape) kitchen table chatting and eating dinner. You sat with Hinata and Sasuke on either side of you and Kiba and Naruto across from you with Shikamaru and Neji in the middle. You and Sasuke were both blushing slightly from the earlier little event and the fact that you were sitting so close to each other, "(Your name)? um (your name)?" You looked up at Hinata only just realizing that she had been trying to talk to you, "Oh, yea?" You reply "Um I-I know this is kind of uh... Personal but... I mean you don't have to answer if you don't want but... Was that your first kiss...?" At this you almost choke on your mouthful of spaghetti and slam your fist down on the table loudly to which Hinata shrieks, Neji glances at you, Shikamaru wakes from his nap, Sasuke jumps out of his seat and Kiba and Naruto look up from their conversation about some boy thing.
