\"The night is darkest just before the dawn."
It was a rather normal day at the kingdom, it was a week before the wedding, everyone was rather busy due to the arrangements such as the bridesmaids, groomsmen, guest list and other things were being finalized. Before Taehyun could get married to her he would have to visit his mom and reveal his soon to be wife to her. Anna was rather pleased to finally meet his biological mom, she was rather very curious about her and her looks, she wondered if Taehyun was more like his mom or his dad though she hasn't met the king yet she was happy to meet his mom. A carriage was outside of the palace awaiting Anna and Taehyun. Anna got dressed in a purple dress which was in the shade amethyst while Taehyun wore a Midnight blue suit which was his mothers favorite.
"Don't you think this dress is a bit too tight, my abdomen feels rather uncomfortable" she expressed to Madeline, "I can loosen it a little but it will take sometime, I'll go get some stitches and other tools", she quickly left to get them, she then came back and adjusted the dress which helped Anna breathe normally again, "Thank You Madelene you are rather very talented, jeez I felt my insides suffocating," she expressed while pointing at her stomach.

Madeline thanked her for the compliment and quickly helped Anna adjust her hair, before Anna could thank Madeline again there was a knock on the door which they both knew was Taehyun, "May I come in", he politely asked. Anna then stood up and let him in, "It's time to get going Luna", he then stopped to take a look at her, amazed by how gorgeous she was, the dress suited her natural glow, she looked very gentle and soft yet bold which suited her feminine aura. He wondered how he ever met such a beauty, she was just too beautiful. "Josephine you are just too beautiful, people will talk "he teased smiling brightly, which caused Anna to blush, "Stop using that name, and quit being an idiot, c'mon lets go", she dragged him out of the room leaving Madeline who smiled at the two lovebirds.
After a long carriage ride they arrived at a beautiful manor that was covered by rose petals with a pathway made of stone, covered in moss."Are you ready?" He asked, squeezing her palm slightly, "Yes I am", she answered amazed by how beautifully bright the manor was, she felt a calming sensation as she entered the manor. She was greeted by four beautiful people which Taehyun said were his mothers siblings, before he could continue a tall woman with calming dark wood eyes greeted Anna.

The woman was so beautiful, she looked somewhat familiar, Anna looked at Taehyun as he spoke, "She is my mothers twin sister", her jaw dropped slightly, as she looked back at the woman her eyes teary, "Your mother would have been so happy to met her".
Anna could see the pure sorrow in her eyes but she stayed strong, "Please have a seat darling", the woman said, Anna quickly greeted bowing and then took a seat."Does she know", one of the men in the room spoke he looked younger than the rest, his voice sounded targeting as if Taehyun was hiding something.
Taehyun was never open to talk about his life or his family, he would only speak on the fact that he had a sibling. Anna always knew that it would take time for him to speak on it since he showed signs of discomfort whenever that was questioned so she would be careful not to bring it up unless he did, but at this moment he had to be open even if it hurt to talk about it.
As the room went quiet all eyes on Taehyun, "No I have not", his voice was cold as he was looking back at the boy, his demeanor changing a bit. Anna did not know that his mother had passed, she thought maybe that could be a reason why he never spoke of her but her suspicions were never confirmed, but by the way they spoke, she knew her suspicions were very much correct. Anna looked at Taehyun she felt a sense of pain knowing he lost his mother as well but her attention quickly moved to Aunts words.
"There's a lot to be uncovered Anna but you have to know so that you can protect yourself from the evil forces of that kingdom... the same forces that killed my sister", she spoke. Anna could only imagine what she was about to hear, a sense of curiosity and fear written on her face.
Anna looked back at Taehyung searching for answers...
